Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive at Srinagar Airport

  On arrival at the airport take a transfer to the houseboats. On reaching there, check-in at the respective houseboats. Relax, unpack and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. The evening is reserved for a Shikara ride on the Dal Lake (on direct payment basis). Stay overnight at the houseboat at Dal Lake, a unique and gratifying experience.

• Day 2 : Srinagar - Pahalgam (96 km in approximately 3 hours)

  After breakfast check out from the houseboat, proceed to Pahalgam which is 2195 metres above the sea level. On your way, visit the Avantipur Ruins, the 1100-year old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Check-in at the hotel and enjoy a delicious hot lunch. Explore the market of Pahalgam at your own leisure and later, enjoy a scrumptious dinner at the hotel and stay there overnight.

• Day 3 : Pahalgam - Gulmarg (150 km in approximately 5 hours)

  After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Gulmarg (2650 meters above the sea level). On reaching check into hotel and spend the day sightseeing at the picturesque sceneries everywhere around you. Overnight stay in Gulmarg.

• Day 4 : Gulmarg

  After breakfast You can take the exhilarating cable-car ride to Khilanmarg or Apharwat Snow Point (Cable car ride and Pony ride are not included in the package). After what will prove to be a soul-refreshing day. Overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 5 : Gulmarg – Srinagar (52 Km)

  After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Srinagar. On arrival check into hotel, and proceed to visit the Shankaracharya Hill Temple. The sacred Shankaracharya Temple, also known as Jyeshteswara, occupies the top of the hills (about 1,000 feet above the surrounding Takht-I-Sulaiman plains in the south-east of Srinagar). Also visit grand Mughal Gardens (Chashme Shahi, Nishat Bagh & Shalimar Bagh). Return to your Srinagar hotel for an overnight stay.

• Day 6 : Srinagar (Sonmarg excursion)

  After breakfast, spend the day at leisure or go for a day-long excursion to Sonamarg ('Meadow of Gold'), if you wish to. Ride up to the glacier on a pony (ponies can be hired directly). After making the best of the day, return to your hotel in Srinagar for an overnight stay.

  Pack your bags and after breakfast at the hotel, get transferred to the Srinagar Airport to board your flight back home.
