Package Overview

Our small group camping adventure will get you outside to explore and reconnect with nature. While camping in the great outdoors, you can enjoy campfire community, shared camp dinners, and stargazing under a brilliant night sky. Camping tours also provide an affordable, unique and comfortable way to see America. This is an ideal trip style for those looking to be active and adventurous.

Never Camped before? Not a problem. Our professional guides are here to help and will walk you through everything you need to know. We provide all camp gear except sleeping bags (tents, sleep mats, kitchen gear), you just need to bring your sense of adventure.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival New York

  Your Group Leader(s) will meet you at the New York Airport and you will be transferred to awaiting tour vans.After flight arrival and transfer to hotel, we will head out for included dinner. At dinner we’ll have a welcome meeting where your Group Leader will give you important information about the tour.
• Day 2 : New York to Washington D.C.

  As we depart from the New York area we first stop in Philadelphia to pay a visit to some of America’s oldest history. We will have time to visit Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell. Before departing we will have a chance to stop for lunch to get your hands on an iconic Philly Cheesesteak sandwich before racing your way up the famous Rocky steps! After our visit to Philly we head out for the Nation’s Capital Washington D.C. We will head in for a brief illumination tour of the monuments lit up at night.
• Day 3 : Washington D.C.

  Today is your day to explore, Your guide will accompany you into the City and drop you off in the heart of the mall. They will give you detailed briefing on what the best things are to do in the city along with maps. After your full day of exploring D.C. you will head back to the campground with your tour leader.
• Day 4 : Shenandoah National Park

  Today is a day to keep your camera at the ready, we will be heading into Shenandoah National Park. We will drive through Skyline Drive that winds its way through the Blue Ridge Mountains and offers spectacular views of the valley below. We will have a chance to jump out and stretch out legs to take a hike in this beautiful region of the world before we settle down for the evening at camp
• Day 5 : West Virginia

  If you have ever listened to country music you have probably heard the lyrics “Country roads, take me home to the place I belong. West Virginia, mountain mamma, take me home, country roads.” West Virginia is known for its mountain scenery and adventure thrills. Today we have the opportunity to trade our van in for a Raft down the New river or head to the sky in an adventure zip lining course!
• Day 6 : Great Smokey Mountains

  Next we are off to the Great Smokey Mountains National park. As we hit the hiking trails here you will soon discover why this national Park is the most visited park in the USA. While you are hiking keep your eyes peeled for any wild life spotting you may have the chance to see an American Black Bear!
• Day 7 : Great Smokey Mountains

  Next we are off to the Great Smokey Mountains National park. As we hit the hiking trails here you will soon discover why this national Park is the most visited park in the USA. • Day 8 : Nashville

  Next we are off to the center hub of American Country Music Nashville, Tennessee! Today you will have a chance to explore the town and visit the Country Music Hall of Fame and Johnny Cash Museum. Don’t forget to pick up a pair of cowboy boots before the group heads out for some good ole’ Country Line Dancing.
• Day 9 : Mammoth Cave National Park

  Today as we begin to make our way to Chicago we make a pit stop at Mammoth Cave National Park to explore the stalagmites and stalactites hidden within. After our cave exploration we head up to the Kentucky Bourbon Trail with an optional stop at the Jim Bean distillery.
• Day 10 : Chicago

  Today we finish our drive to Chicago aka the Windy City! There is a ton to keep you entertained here for two days we begin with an included bike tour around the city to get acquainted with the city before heading out for a local tradition of deep dish pizza. The next day is on your own you guide will give you a detailed briefing along with maps of the city to get around.
• Day 11 : Chicago

  Today we finish our drive to Chicago aka the Windy City! There is a ton to keep you entertained here for two days we begin with an included bike tour around the city to get acquainted with the city before heading out for a local tradition of deep dish pizza. The next day is on your own you guide will give you a detailed briefing along with maps of the city to get around.
• Day 12 : Cedar Point

  Sick of Chicago yet? We didn’t think so but next we are off to Cedar Point, home to America’s wildest roller coasters! We won’t arrive until later in the afternoon but it will give you enough time to set up camp and make it to the park for discounted tickets for their twilight special.
• Day 13 : Niagara Falls

  If you are looking to check off somethings on your bucket list the 7 natural wonders of the world must be on it. Today we are off to Niagara Falls one of the 7 natural wonders of the world. We will enjoy a Maid of the Mist boat cruise to get up close and personal to see the true power of these falls. Later tonight we will return to see the falls all lit up!

• Day 14 : Finger Lakes

  Today we make our last stop of the tour on the way back to New York. The Finger Lakes are unique and full of water sport activities for you to fill your afternoon with. If you are feeling like staying dry, head out to one of several world class wineries in the region for some wine tasting.
• Day 15 : New York

  Sadly our tour is coming to an end today. As we head back to New York City we will make a few stops along the way before saying good-bye.
