Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Katra - Pahalgam

  Jammu/Udhampur/ Katra railway station you will be welcomed by our representatives and provided the luxury vehicles for Moving towards Pahalgarm. In the way from Jammu to Udhampur railway station, some long tunnel and high bridges will see in which have used in high technology as well as will see pleasant scene during travelling from Jammu railway station to Udhampur or Katra railway station which is about 53 km/1hrs from Jammu railway station. Pahalgam (The valley of Shepherds) is the most famous place for Indian film Industry. After reaching Pahalgam, you may go for walks or pony ride to one of the many beautiful spots around pahalgam. Over night at Hotel in Pahalgam.

• Day 2 : Pahalgam - Gulmarg - srinagar

  In Early morning move towards Gulmarg “Meadow of Flowers” the charming hill resort which is about 148 kms/4 hrs from Pahalgarm and 56 km/2 hrs from Srinagar at an attitude of 2730 mtrs. The most beautiful summer resort in the valley. It is popular for its highest golf coverse in the world and skiing in winters. Also you can enjoy a pony ride/Gondola ride (cable car) to Khilanmarg (at your own coast). In evening further proceed for Srinagar and over night at house boat /hotel.

• Day 3 : Srinagar Sightseeing

  Move for sightseeing in Srinagar such as Mugal Gardens, Chashmi-e-Shahi (the Royal Springs) Nishat Garden (The Garden of pleasure) Shalmir Bagh (Abode of love), Shankaracharya temple, Hazratbal Shrine, Pari Mahal, Khanqah-e-Moula and Jama Masjid etc. In the evening enjoy the shikara ride (on your own) at famous Dal lake and over night at House boat/hotel.

• Day 4 : Srinagar - Zojila - Drass - Kargil

  After breakfast leave for Kargil which is about 205 km/6hrs, via Sonamarg and crossing the Zoji-la pass. Drass, the first town over the pass is famous as the 2nd coldest inhabited place in the world. About an hour’s drive down the valley from Drass is Kargil, 2nd largest town of Ladakh and headquarters of Kargil district. Overnight in the hotel at Kargil.

• Day 5 : Kargil - Lamayuru - Leh

  In the morning proceed towards for Leh which is about 237 km/7hrs, in the way visiting the dramatically located Lamayuru monastery and the adjoining ‘Moonland’ hills forming its backdrop. Driving further on along the Indus, visit Sanagm (confluence of Indus & Zanskar Rivers), Magnetic Point, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara & Hall of Fame (museum of military heritage). Check out in hotel at Leh.

• Day 6 : Leh: Sightseeing (Monasteries & Palaces)

  After breakfast, move towards on sightseeing tour of the 12-storied Thiksey Monastery dating from the 16th century, and then the 17th century Hemis Monastery, biggest monastery & principal seat of the Drukpa monastic order in Ladakh which is about 110 km/4hrs from Leh. On the way back from Hemis, you may walk up the hill to visit the Shey Palace to admire the gigantic copper-gilt statue of the Buddha installed there during the 17th century, and then visit the Druk Padma School (Rancho School) at Shey. Finally, take a detour across the Indus to visit the Stok Palace Museum. In evening return back and stay night at the hotel.

• Day 7 : Leh - Pangong Lake - Leh

  After early breakfast leave for Pangong Lake via Chang-la pass, 3rd highest motorable pass in the world. Pangong Lake which is about 145 km/6 hrs, largest brackish water lake of Asia, is 4-5 kms wide and about 135 kms long of which about two-third portion lies on the other side of the Indo-China border. After sightseeing at the lake, return back and stay night at the hotel.

• Day 8 : Leh - Khardongla - Nubra Valley

  After breakfast leave for the Nubra Valley which is about 120 km/4hrs, driving across Khardong-la, highest motorable pass in the world. From the pass you can enjoy spectacular views of the Zanskar range across the Indus Valley in the south, and the Saser massif in the north. Reach Deskit / Hunder in the afternoon and check-in at your camp / hotel. Rest of the day at leisure to explore Hundar and the white Sand Dunes where you can also enjoy camel Safari on the double-humped Bactrian camel found here (optional). Overnight in camp / hotel at Hunder / Deskit.

• Day 9 : Nubra Valley - Khardongla - Leh

  After breakfast, explore Deskit (headquarters of Nubra valley) and then visit the dramatically located, 15th century Deskit Monastery, perched high on a rocky promontory above the village. Thereafter drive back to Leh via Khardongla, reaching in the afternoon. Overnight at the hotel.

• Day 10 : Leh: Drop to Airport Leh/Srinagar/Jammu

  Early morning transfer to the Leh airport for taking the flight for onward destination. If your flight will schedule from Srinagar then we will dropped you in Srinagar airport on same day. If your drop station is Jammu, then we will stay one more night at Srinagar and next day early morning we will further move to Jammu Airport/railway station.
