Day 1 : Istanbul
On arrival at the Istanbul Airport, you will be met and chauffeured to your hotel for check-in. No activities have been planned for today, leaving you free to pursue your own plans. Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 2 : Istanbul City Tour
Today, after breakfast, we will depart by 09:00AM for the Istanbul City Tour. We will begin the tour with a visit to the Ancient Hippodrome, the venue of legendary chariot races and the three monuments: the Obelisk of Theodosius, the Bronze Serpentine Column and the Column of Constantine. We will then continue to the Sultanahmet Mosque across from St. Sophia, which was built in the 16th century by the architect Mehmet. It is also known as the Blue Mosque because of its magnificent interior decoration of blue Iznik tiles. We arrive at our last stop - the famous Hagia Sophia. This ancient basilica, built by Constantine the Great in the 4th century and reconstructed by Justinian in the 6th century, is one of the architectural marvels of all time. After the tour you have the option to experience The Bosporus Cruise. You will have the chance to enjoy magnificent views of the Bosporus or the Istanbul Strait, which connects Asia to Europe. No activities have been planned for today, leaving you free to pursue your own plans. Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 3 : Gallipoli Battlefields Tour
After breakfast, we will check-out from the hotel and depart for Canakkale with an en-route stop at Eceabat, Turkey, where we will enjoy a fully-guided Gallipoli Battlefields tour - a guided tour of sights related with the World War I and Turkey's role in it. Check out the artefacts from the Gallipoli Campaign at the Kabatepe Museum. Gallipoli Campaign or the Battle of Gallipoli was an unsuccessful attempt by British and French forces to capture the Ottoman capital of Istanbul; artefacts include a soldier's skull with the bullet hole that killed him. Visit the ANZAC Cove, a small cove on the Gallipoli peninsula, where the ANZAC (Australian and New Zealand Army Corps) landed in April 1915 during the World War I; Lone Pine Australian Memorial, a war memorial located in the Lone Pine cemetery commemorating over 4,900 Australian and New Zealand servicemen who died in the Anzac area during and before the actual war. We will also visit other war cemeteries such as Johnston's Jolly, The Nek and Chunuk Bair New Zealand memorial. During the tour there will be a lunch break. Late in the afternoon we will arrive in Canakkale.
Day 4 : Helen of Troy Tour - Kusadasi
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and depart for the Ancient city of Troy. During the Helen of Troy Tour, the guide will explain the mythology surrounding Troy, the 'Trojan Horse' and Helen of Troy, as well as the history and discoveries of the archaeological diggings from its discovery by Heinrich Schliemann in the 1870's to the present day and on going. Nine cities have been discovered built one on top of the other dating back to 3500 B.C. After enjoying a tour of Troy, we will depart for Kusadasi. Arrival at Kusadasi is scheduled to be late in the evening. On arrival, proceed to the hotel for check-in. Overnight in Kusadasi.
Day 5 : Kusadasi Ephesus Tour - Overnight in Bodrum
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and head out to enjoy a fully-guided Ephesus Tour, which starts at 08:30AM. A visit to Ephesus, once the commercial centre of the ancient world and one of the best preserved ancient ruins in the world, is a highlight of any visit to Turkey. The city, whose wealth and patronage supported its splendid architectural program, was dedicated to the Goddess Artemis. Her enormous temple, once considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and rebuilt several times, dates in its latest form from the third century B.C. The ruins include a theatre with seating for 25,000 spectators, gymnasium, agora and baths, as well as the Library of Celsus. After Ephesus tour ends, we will continue on our way to Bodrum, where we will check-into the hotel and stay the night. Overnight in Bodrum.
Day 6 : Bodrum City Tour
After breakfast, we will enjoy a day out at sea with lunch included and served on board. At approx. 11:00AM, we will set out to cruise the turquoise seas of the Bodrum Coastline. We will visit several of the most beautiful bays where you can swim and snorkel in crystal-clear water or simply relax in the mild breeze, enjoy the stunning views and perfect your suntan to the sound of the gently lapping waves. We will reach land by approx. 05:00PM. In the evening, we will party and explore Bodrum's clubs and bars and visit Halikarnnas, the largest outdoor discotheque in Europe. Or you can take a ride on The Catamaran, the world's largest floating club. With its glass bottom you can literally dance on water. Overnight in Bodrum.
Day 7 : Bodrum Tour End
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and proceed to the airport for your flight back home or on to your next destination.
