Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival in Ahmedabad

  Arrive in the historical and cultural capital of Gujarat - Ahmedabad - and check into the hotel. After breakfast, leave for Gandhi Ashram. Later during the day, drive down to the Vaishno Devi and Iskon Temples. Discover the architectural beauty of Akshardham Temple and enjoy the Pradarshani at Akshar Hall, followed by the Grand Laser Show within the premises. Stay overnight in the comfort of your hotel.

  • Hotspots : Gandhi Ashram

• Day 2 : Ahmedabad - Jamnagar (300kms / approx 5-6 hrs)

  Leave for Jamnagar after breakfast. Visit Bala Hanuman Temple, famously known for Ramdhun, or the endless chants of Lord Rama since 1956. Take a walk around the Lakhota Museum, Lakhota Lake and other famous shrines of Jamnagar. A stopover at the local markets or bazaars to discover the art of Bandhani work is a must. After an action packed day, stay overnight in your hotel.

  • Hotspots : Bala Hanuman Temple

• Day 3 : Jamnagar - Dwarka (130 kms / 4 hours approx)

  After breakfast, drive down to Nageshwar Jyotirling, Gopi, Bet Dwarka and Rukmani Temple. Later in the afternoon, enjoy lunch at the Dwarka Residency. Attend the evening 'aarti' at Dwarkadhish Temple. Stay overnight at the hotel.

• Day 4 : Dwarka - Somnath / Veraval (230 kms / 5 hours approx)

  Attend the early morning aarti at Dwarkadhish Temple. Later, have breakfast and proceed for Somnath. Enroute, visit Porbander, the birth place of Mahatma Gandhi, Sudamapuri and Bharat Mata Temple. Later, proceed to Somnath and visit the Somnath Temple. You may attend the evening aarti, as well as the sound and light show in the Somnath Temple premises. Have dinner and stay overnight at Somnath/ Veraval.

  • Hotspots : Somnath, Dwarkadhish Temple

• Day 5 : Somnath - Gir (43 kms / 1.5 hours approx)

  Today, after breakfast, proceed to the world famous Gir National Park - the home of the Great Asiatic Lion. Check into the Gir Birding Lodge. You may enjoy an exciting jungle safari in Gir National Park to catch a glimpse of the Asiatic lions, leopards, spotted deers and various species of birds. Return to the lodge in Gir for an overnight stay.

• Day 6 : Departure from Ahmedabad

  After breakfast, leave for Ahmedabad. On reaching Ahmedabad in the evening, catch the train or flight back home with sweet memories of Gujarat.
