Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 :

  Arrival at airport - transfer to hotel in Tirana – afternoon visit of the National Historical Museum, the Mosque of Et’hem Bej, the Tomb of Kapllan Pasha and Tanners bridge – dinner at local restaurant - overnight at hotel.

• Day 2 :

  After breakfast drive to Kruja, main town of Albania at XV C- visits the fortress, the Museum of Skanderbeg and the fascinating Ethnographic museum - a stroll along the old bazaar, which has a wonderful selection of souvenirs- back to Tirana - afternoon excursion to mount Dajti by Cable car followed by the visit of the World Headquarter of Muslim Bektashi Sect, the Arts Gallery and the ex-residential block of communist party leaders - dinner at local restaurant – overnight at your hotel in Tirana.

• Day 3 :

  At morning drive to Elbasan along Qafa e Krrabes mountain road, enjoying fantastic views of Tirana and Elbasan lowland -visit the ruins of the Ottoman fortress and St Mary church - continue on Albanian/Macedonian cross border - proceed to Skopje along the banks of Drini River – en-route visit the Jovan.Bigorsi monastery in Gostivar, the Motley Mosque and the Tekke Arabati Baba in Tetova – dinner, overnight at hotel in Skopje.

• Day 4 :

  Full day visits in Skopje - visit the stone bridge, the fortress Kale, the Mustafa Pasha Mosque, the St. Spas Church and St Pantelejmon Monastery – afternoon visit of the Matka tourist point on Treska river – dinner, overnight at your hotel in Skopje.

• Day 5 :

  This morning drive to Prilep where visit the Treskavec Monastery and St. Mihail Church - follow to Bitola to visit the Antic city of Heraklea – proceed to Ohrid - afternoon visits of the St.Sofia, St.Kaneo, St.Kliment Churches - dinner, overnight at your hotel.

• Day 6 :

  After breakfast drive to St Naum town where visit the Monastery of St Naum – re -enter Albania and continue on to Voskopoja, famous for its old Churches with significant religious paints - afternoon visit the museum of the Medieval Arts – dinner, overnight at hotel in Korca.

• Day 7 :

  Early morning drive to Gjirokastra (Unesco World Heritage) through southern highlands, via Erseka, Permeti and Kelcyra Gorge -afternoon visit the Old Fortress with Weapons Museum and Ethnographic Museum – dinner, overnight at hotel.

• Day 8 :

  After breakfast drive to Saranda – en-route visit the “Blue Eye” sprigs and the Mesopotami church – afternoon visit the Ruins of Antic City of Butrinti (Unesco World Heritage) – dinner, overnight at your hotel.

• Day 9 :

  This morning you drive to Vlora along mountain road of Albanian Riviera enjoying the beautiful and fantastic scenery and landscapes of Ionian Coastline and Llogara Pass – en-route visit the Ali Pasha of Ioanina castle at Porto Palermo bay - dinner, overnight at beach hotel in Vlora.

• Day 10 :

  Breakfast - after visit the Independence House follow on to Pojan in Fieri where visit the Archaeological Center of Apolonia - proceed to Berati - en route visit the Ardenica Monastry and a local winery – afternoon s/s the city - dinner, overnight at hotel in Berati.

• Day 11 :

  At morning visit the Ethnographic Museum, the Citadel and Onufri Museum – afternoon drive to Durres where visit the Roman Time Amphitheater and Archaeological Museum – dinner, overnight at beach hotel in Durres.

• Day 12 :

  Free morning – transfer to airport - departure
