Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival In Srinagar

  Arrive in the Gateway to Heaven – Srinagar and transfer to the Houseboat / Hotel. Enjoy the Shikara ride in the famous Dal lake before sunset. Dinner and overnight in the hotel / houseboat.

• Day 2 : Srinagar – Kargil (224 Kms Approx)

  After having breakfast in the hotel / houseboat proceed towards Kargil –the place of 1999 War significance. Enroute halt at Sonamarg the beautiful destination famous for lush green Meadows and Pine trees. After having lunch(on your own) immediately begins the climb of the mighty Zojila pass(altitude 11575 feet). After crossing the Jimmy gate on the Zoji-la we enter the LADAKH region. Halt for Photo on the Zojila top and proceed to the town of Drass(the second coldest inhabited place in the world). Enroute see the Tiger Hill and Reach the KARGIL WAR MEMORIAL(A beautiful and Patriotic place to be showcasing the Pictures, ammunition, Stories of our Brave heart Army men in the Kargil war fought in 1999). Later reach the Kargil hotel. Dinner and Overnight in the hotel.
• Day 3 : Kargil – Leh (220 Kms Approx)

  This Morning after breakfast drive towards Leh, today you notice the landscapes getting barren and the greenery subsiding. We cross the high passes of Fotu-la , Namika-la and reach the popular attraction- Lamayuru the incredible Panorama of Golden sand mountains similar to that like on the moon. Have lunch on the way(on your own) and proceed to the Sangam- The Confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers is in Ladakh at Nimu. Just ahead visit the Gurudwara Patthar Sahib. Can anyone ever imagine the movement of a vehicle up a steep mountain with its engines off? Reach Magnetic Hill to experience this phenomenon which sounds unbelievable. Just before reaching Leh visit Spituk Monastery (Kali Mata Temple) and Ladakh Hall of fame. Arrive at your hotel in Leh for dinner and overnight stay. After a delicious meal, stay overnight at Hotel in Leh.
• Day 4 : Leh Local Sightseeing

  After breakfast this morning, drive to Thiksey Monastery. One of the most beautiful monasteries of Ladakh, it belongs to the Gelukpa Order of Buddhism. After this, drive to Shey Palace, located 15 km to the south of Leh on the Leh-Manali highway. The three-storeys palace is perched on a hillock overlooking the beautiful Shey village. Later visit Sindhu Ghaat. The festival is also a symbolic salutation to the courageous soldiers of the country, who have endangered their life to save ours. Arrive at Leh and you will be dropped at Leh Market / hotel for Lunch (on your own). After lunch, you will leave for sightseeing to Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace. Return to your hotel for a warm dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

• Day 5 : Leh – Nubra Valley (150 Kms Approx)

  Early morning proceed to Nubra Valley via the Worlds Highest Motorable road (5602 Mts) Khardung la pass. Popularly called the orchard of Ladakh, you will definitely be overwhelmed to see the Bactrian Camels (Shaggy double hump Camel) around sand dunes, Diskit monastery. Arrive at Nubra Valley and proceed for a visit to the White Sand Dunes at Hunder. You can enjoy the camel ride (on your own). Later if time permits visit Hunder and Diskit monasteries and check in at Deluxe Camp. The evening is at leisure. Stay overnight at the comfortable Swiss camps.

• Day 6 : Nubra Valley - Pangong Via Shyok

  After breakfast depart to Pangong lake on the indo china border. Situated to the north east of leh 4350 meters above the sea level. Pangong means extensive concavity. The mirror calm water is cold , clear , blue and salty. Dinner and overnight in Camp

• Day 7 : Pangong Lake - Leh (145 Kms Approx)

  “Arise to beautiful morning as you witness the sunrise sitting by Pangong. Prepare to drive back to Leh via Chang La Pass that lies at the height of 5486 meters. Bollywood lovers rejoice as we visit the Druk White Lotus, the school Aamir Khan taught at in 3 Idiots. Drive further to reach Leh and spend the rest of the day at leisure for shopping.Spend the night at the hotel with a scrumptious dinner meal.”
• Day 8 : Leh – Jispa / Keylong (345 Kms Approx)

  This is the most beautiful and thrilling journey of the entire tour.
  Today Early Morning departure to Jispa via Tanglang-la Pass, Lachung-la Pass, Sarchu, Barlach-la Pass, Darcha. reach in the evening Dinner and overnight in JISPA / KEYLONG.
• Day 9 : Jispa / Keylong - Manali (117 Kms Approx)

  JISPA / KEYLONG – MANALI (117 kms approx)
• Day 10 : Manali Local, Manali - Delhi (510 Kms Approx)

  After breakfast, Half day sight seeing of Manali – Hidimba temple, Vasisht kund, departure to DELHI by Volvo bus (Overnight Journey).
• Day 11 : Arrival In Delhi

  Early morning arrival at New Delhi and departure to Mumbai by Air / Train. Tour concludes with the most fun and exciting memories.
