Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : AUCKLAND - ROTORUA (2N)

  Mumbai to Mumbai’ tour guests will meet at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai as per the scheduled flight departure time and fly to Auckland. Welcome to New Zealand – An island country of stunning and diverse natural beauty, also known as the ‘Paradise of the Pacific’ and the ‘Land of Kiwis’. On arrival to this beautiful country, we head to the first destination of our journey, Rotorua – a city well known for its natural thermal springs and fascinating Maori culture.
• Day 2 : ROTORUA

  We start our day today by visiting the Whakarewarewa/ Te Puia Thermal Reserve – a unique village known for its geothermal activity and rich Maori culture. We enjoy a wonderful local Maori show and a visit to the Government Gardens. The fun is not yet over, as we enjoy a sheep shearing show at Agrodome – lush farmlands which offer unique farm experiences of New Zealand.
• Day 3 : ROTORUA - AUCKLAND (1N)

  Today we head back to Auckland – New Zealand’s multicultural hub and most populous city with spectacular landscapes. Enroute we visit Waitomo Caves to view the amazing spectacle of the Glow Worm Grotto on a silent water boat ride (subject to operation). On arrival in Auckland, we visit Kelly Tarlton Underwater World. We enjoy city orientation tour where we take in the beautiful sights of the city such as Harbour Bridge – second longest road bridge in New Zealand, West Haven Marina, Queens Street, Waterfront followed by a visit to the Auckland Sky Tower Observatory Deck.
• Day 4 : AUCKLAND - QUEENSTOWN (3N)

  The day is set today for a lovely flight journey to Queenstown, known as the ‘Global Adventure Capital’ of the world, famous for its adventure sports. In the evening, we get free time for our favourite activity, shopping and enjoy a wonderful opportunity to take photographs at the picturesque Wakatipu Lake – a glacier lake offering spectacular views of the surrounding mountain peaks
• Day 5 : QUEENSTOWN

  Today, we witness awe-inspiring views of the Bungee Jumping Point on Kawarau River – world home of Bungee jumping. We then take a leisurely stroll around Arrowtown to take in the sights and sounds of this historic town. Later, get ready for the experience of a lifetime as we enjoy the Skyline Gondola Ride to Bob Peak which offers amazing aerial views of the city.
• Day 6 : QUEENSTOWN - MILFORD SOUND - QUEENSTOWN

  We head to Milford Sound today – New Zealand’s most famous tourist destination with unparalleled natural beauty. Here, we view wonderful sights such as Wakatipu Lake, Egglington Valley, Mirror Lake, Monkey Creek, Te Anau Lake, Holyford valley, Hummer tunnel, Cledeau valley and Chasm waterfall. We enjoy a scenic ride aboard the Milford Sound Cruise through the Fjord National Park and experience spectacular views of Mitre peak, Brown Waterfall etc. We head back to Queensland and enjoy a lovely stroll by the Queenstown waterfront area.
• Day 7 : QUEENSTOWN - FRANZ JOSEF (1N)

  We head to Franz Josef today – a town which is home to one of the most dynamic glaciers in the country. On arrival at Franz Josef, we enjoy the stunning vistas of the natural wonders from viewing platforms overlooking the Franz Josef Glacier. Another thrilling adventure awaits, as we take off in an exciting helicopter ride (subject to operation) which offers some beautiful and mesmerizing views of the glaciers.
• Day 8 : FRANZ JOSEF - ARTHUR’ S PASS - CHRIST CHURCH(1N)

  We proceed to Arthur’s Pass today, from where we take the world famous TranzAlpine train to Christchurch – regarded as one of the world’s great train journeys due to the amazing scenery that it passes through. Enroute we enjoy a photo stop at Otira viaduct lookout. Arrive in Christchurch.
• Day 9 : DEPARTURE FROM CHRIST CHURCH

  Our tour ends with mixed feelings! Happy to have made so many new friends, visited several amazing destinations but also sad that it means the end of such a wonderful trip. Let’s stay in touch through email, Facebook, mobile and meet each other again on more such memorable tours! This is not a goodbye but a ‘see you soon’. ‘Mumbai to Mumbai Tour’ guests will proceed to the airport as per their scheduled group flight departure time and take a return flight back to Mumbai
