Adolescent ages 14 to 19 pay as adults.
Adults ages 14 plus pay normal prices
Senior Citizens ages 70 plus have a special rate.

Group sizes 16 to 21 persons, the group leader goes for half prize.
Groups sizes 21 plus the group leader goes for free.

Exchange rate is 1 U.S. dollar =2 Belize dollars.

Altun Ha is Located just north of Belize City. This Mayan sight of Altun Ha is one of the nearest Mayan Tour to Belize City. Altun Ha Tours takes about 3 to 3 1/2 hours only.

Altun Ha is a small trading center that was are very important to the Mayas. They trade from the Maya lowlands to the highlands for various objects namely Obsidian, Salts, Medicinal plants, feathers and especially for jade which has its origin in highland Guatemala. The largest piece of jade carving (Kinich Ahau) ever found in the Maya world was found it this small size city of Altun Ha yet it had a great complexity and wealth. Come and walk in the footsteps of this great civilization and absorb the power of Kinich Ahau, the Sun God.
