Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Delhi - Srinagar - Baltal

  Arrive Srinagar by air and then drive direct to Baltal via Sonamarg. It will take 3½ hrs to Baltal. Rest of the day free at Baltal , enjoy local beautiful scenery and prepare for next day's trek to Amarnath Cave.Overnight in tents at Baltal.

• Day 2 : Baltal - Amarnath Cave - Baltal

  Holy Cave
  After very early breakfast trek upwards to Amarnath Cave for darshan. It's 14 kms to Baltal to Holey Cave and takes 12-14 hrs for up-down. The route is ascending right up to the cave. Have a dip in the ice-cold water of Amarnath Stream, which flows, outside the cave. Inside the cave there is scenery of calm tranquility of white and glistering three massive Lingmas stand erect symbol of Lord Shiva, Parvathi and Ganesh. After darshan trek back towards Baltal. Overnight in tents.

• Day 3 : Baltal - Srinagar

  Drive back to Srinagar. On arrival in Srinagar, transfer to Deluxe Houseboats in Dal Lake.Dinner overnight Houseboats.

  • Hotspots : Dal Lake

• Day 4 : Srinagar

  After breakfast go for sightseeing of Mughal Gardens visiting Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh All the gardens are situated on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains in the background. After lunch Shikara ride on Dal Lake visiting floating and vegetable gardens etc.
  Dinner and overnight stay in Houseboats.

• Day 5 : Srinagar - Jammu - Delhi

  Timely transfer to airport to connect flight for Jammu or Delhi. Or early morning drive back to Jammu. A distance of about 300kms will be covered in about 9 hrs. From Jammu, you can board the train for onward destination.
