Rann of Kutch :- The name "Rann" comes from the Hindi word ran (रण) meaning "desert". The Rann of Kutch, also known as the Great Rann of Kutch (there's a Little Rann of Kutchas well), is a remarkable place to visit in Gujarat. Much of it consists of the world's largest salt desert, measuring around 10,000 square Kilometers. What makes it even more amazing is that the salt desert is underwater during the main monsoon season in India. For the remaining eight months of the year, it's an enormous stretch of packed white salt. Each community has its own oral traditions, dance, craft and dress. Stretching along the Tropic of Cancer, from Rajasthan to the edge of Pakistan and the Arabian Sea, Kutch covers a little over 45000 sq km and is geographically one of India's largest and most distinctive districts.

Kutch Rann Utsav :- The Government of Gujarat hosts an annual 3 month long festival called the Rann Utsav (festival of the Rann), where tourists can see the various sights of the Rann as well as get a taste of the local culture, cuisine and hospitality. Specially built local houses are also used to house tourists to give them a taste of them. Many adventure clubs and travel clubs organize expeditions.
The Great Rann of Kutch is a seasonal salt marsh located in the Thar Desert in the Kutch District of Gujarat, India and the Sindh province of Pakistan. It is about 7,505.22 square kilometres (2,897.78 sq mi) in size and is reputed to be the largest salt desert in the world. This area has been inhabited by the Kutchi people. The unique handicrafts of Kutch are world famous. A lot of women and young girls make their living by selling different types of embroidered cloths. The embroidery is of various styles such as Rabari, Ahir, Sindhi, Banni, Mutwa, Ari and Soof - and some styles include mirror or bead inlay.

05:00 PM to 05:30 PM Transfer to White Rann to witness the Grandeur of Sunset. Mode of transfer can be
through Camel Cart / Bus on first come first basis. Guest will have to return by the
same mode of transfer.

Mandvi

Kutch Mandvi is an important beach famous among travellers for peace and solitude. Mandvi has beautiful white sand, serene locales and enchanting sunset views. Dist. from Tent City is approx. 140 kms one way, which takes approx. 2.5 hr.

Indo-Pak Border

Get the feel of how our BSF Jawans guard the border. Dist. From tent city is approx. 160 kms. With a travel time around 3 hrs.

Sri Swami Narayan Temple (Approx. Time 20 Minutes) :- Made in marble, intricate carvings adorn the pillars and ceiling of the most expensive temple built in the state of Gujarat recently.

Aina Mahal (Approx. Time 30 Minutes) :- Aina Mahal is an 18th century palace in Bhuj, Gujarat, India. It is located next to the Prag Mahal. The walls of the Palace are of White Marble covered with mirrors separated by gilded ornaments with shades of Venetian glass.

Bhujodi (Handicraft Village & Craft Park Approx. Time 40 Minutes) :- Hiralaxmi Craft Park… A vision to preserve, restore and promote the arts of Kutch and making them accessible to masses. Handicraft village where live artisans can be seen working. The cost of entry ticket (if any) will be borne by the guest. In case guest has to reach Railway Station / Airport / Bus Stand earlier for their onward journey, they will have to arrange on their own. Time of any such departure to be notified at the reception at the time of check in.

Package inclusions and itinerary can’t be change/negotiate.

The package can’t be booked for a single person; it is for 2 adults only.

Local sightseeing as per the itinerary depends on the local weather conditions.

Refund on cancellation depends upon the concerned hotel’s cancellation policies.

Guests are not allowed to drive the cab, provided for the above mentioned itinerary.

Per person rates (in Rs.), and applicable on 2 persons, on triple sharing basis (maximum 2 adults are per tent is allowed).

All transfers, excursions, sightseeing and travel as per itinerary in an air conditioned vehicle (The air conditions will work in plain areas only and not on hills).

Package rates are subject to change without prior notice. However the new package rates would be conveyed to the guest depending on the availability in the hotels/camp.

Air condition is allowed in the moving position of the cab provided and not in the standing position if it is more than 10 minutes for the above mentioned itinerary.

Guests are not allowed to drink (alcohol)/smoke / do any other illegal activities as per the Indian laws inside the cab, provided for the above mentioned itinerary.

One Child between 0 to 4 years is complimentary (without bed) after that each child between 0 to 4 years 50% of per person package cost without extra bed, child between 4 To 12 years will be charged 70% of the per person package cost with extra bed ( mattress ) sharing the same room with parents, beyond 12 years 100% per person package cost will be charged with extra bed (mattress) sharing the same room with parents and we request our guest to declare the actual age of the child at the time booking.
