Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival in Ahmedabad

  Arrive in the historical and cultural capital of Gujarat - Ahmedabad and check-in to the hotel. After breakfast, leave for Gandhi Ashram. Later, drive down to the Vaishno Devi Temple and Iskon Temple. Visit Akshardham Temple and enjoy the Pradarshani at Akshar Hall, followed by the Grand Laser Show at Akshardham Temple premises. Stay overnight in the comfort of your hotel.

• Day 2 : Ahmedabad – Jamnagar (300 Kms/5-6 Hours Approx)

  Leave for Jamnagar after breakfast. Visit Bala Hanuman Temple, known for its nonstop ‘Ramdhun’ -(nonstop chanting) since 1956. Also, visit Lakhota Museum, Lakhota Lake and other famous temples of Jamnagar. If you have not had enough, shop till you dropp at the local markets in Jamnagar known for its Bandhni work. Stay overnight in your hotel.

• Day 3 : Jamnagar – Dwarka (130 Kms/4 Hours Approx)

  After breakfast, drive down to Nageshwar Jyotirling, Gopi, Bet Dwarka and Rukmani Temple. Later in the afternoon, enjoy lunch at Dwarka Residency. Attend the evening 'aarti' at Dwarka Dish Temple. Stay overnight at the hotel.

• Day 4 : Dwarka – Somnath/veraval (230 Kms/5 Hours Approx)

  Attend the early morning aarti (optional) at Dwaka Dheesh Temple. Later, have breakfast and proceed for Somnath. Enroute, visit Porbander, the birth place of Mahatma Gandhi. On arrival in Somnath, visit the Somnath Temple. You may also attend the evening aarti, or sound and light show in the Somnath Temple premises. Have dinner and stay overnight at Somnath Veraval.

• Day 5 : Somnath – Gir (43 Kms/ 1.5 Hours Approx)

  Today, after breakfast, proceed to the world famous Gir National Park - the home of the Great Asiatic Lion. Check-in to the Gir Birding Lodge. You may enjoy an exciting jungle Safari in Gir National Park to catch a glimpse of the Asiatic lions, leopards, spotted deers and various species of birds. Return to the lodge in Gir for an overnight stay.

• Day 6 : Departure from Ahmedabad

  After breakfast, leave for Ahmedabad. On reaching Ahmedabad in the evening, catch your flight back home with sweet memories of Gujarat.
