Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Ahmedabad - Rajkot (250 kms/5-6 hrs)

  Arrive Ahmedabad & drive to Rajkot, the former capital of the princely state of the same name and fast growing city of Saurashtra peninsula, arrive and proceed to your hotel. In the afternoon proceed for a city sightseeing tour of Rajkot, visit Kaba Gandhino Delo, house of Mahatma Gandhi, proceed to Jagat Mandir, and lastly visit Watson Museum and library, evening is at leisure, overnight hotel.

• Day 2 : Rajkot - Junagdh (99 kms/2 hrs)

  Today you will proceed to Junagadh, An ancient fortified city, rich in myth and legend, Junagadh lies at the foot of the Girnar Hills. Enroute to Junagadh you will stop to visit the famous Gondal Palace, also visit a fine collection of automobiles which are now part of a museum in the palace premises. Optionally you may enjoy a lunch at the Palace restaurant. Rest of the evening is at leisure, overnight hotel.

• Day 3 : Junagadh - Girnar - Junagadh

  Today you will proceed for a full day excursion to Girnar Hills, One of the most sacred pilgrim places for Jains in India. These hills rise to a height of more than 600 meters, with five peaks crowned by 16 carved and sculptured marble shrines. A steep climb of about 2000 steps leads to the temples. The oldest & largest temple is dedicated to Neminath, the 22nd Tirthankar, who attained ‘Diksha’ here. Overnight hotel.

• Day 4 : Junagadh - Gir (60 kms / 1 hour)

  This morning you will drive to Gir forest the only place in the world, outside Africa, where the Asiatic lion can be seen in its natural habitat. Arrive and proceed to your hotel. Visit the Gir National Park, you may have an opportunity to sight Asiatic Lion, you may also site The largest Indian deer, sambar, chital, nilgai, chinkara and the unique chowsingha are found here, along with the bear and the long tailed langur. The peacock, India's national bird with its resplendent. (Safari charges are additional and safari needs to be booked online) Overnight hotel.

• Day 5 : Gir - Junagadh - Ahmedabad (350 kms/7-8 hrs)

  Early this morning you may visit the National park for Optional game viewing. Later you will drive to Ahmedabad, a unique city, blending an ancient heritage with a vibrant present. The city’s prosperous and eventful past is embodied in its rich kaleidoscope of history, art and culture. Proceed to your hotel, rest of the day is at leisure, overnight hotel.

• Day 6 : Ahmedabad

  This morning proceed for city sightseeing tour of Ahmedabad, visit Siddi Sayed Mosque famous for its shaking Minarets, proceed to the Adaalaj Vav, a four storied step well consisting of ornately carved pillars, niches and cross beams. Later visit the serene and tranquil Sabarmati Ashram - the soul of the freedom movement in India, where the leaders of the country, led by the father of the nation
  , Mahatma Gandhi, lastly you will proceed to Akshardham temple in Gandhinagar. Rest of the day is at leisure for shopping and individual activities. overnight hotel.
