Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Cochin - Munnar (110 Km)

  On arrival at Cochin airport take a transfer to Munnar. On arrival check-in to your hotel, in the evening visit the Tata Tea Museum and enjoy the beautiful serenity of the tea plantations (remains closed on Mondays). Return to your hotel for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

• Day 2 : Munnar

  After breakfast at the hotel, take a sightseeing tour of Munnar. Munnar is famous for its tea plantations. Visit Eravikulam National Park and explore its rich flora and fauna. Relish the local food at a good restaurant. Later in the afternoon, visit Mattupetty Lake and Dam. Enjoy the echo phenomenon at the famous Echo Point also visit Attukal Waterfall. Return to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening at your own leisure. Have a warm, hearty dinner and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay in your room.

• Day 3 : Munnar - Thekkady 110 km. 4/5 hours

  After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Thekkady. On arrival, check-in to your hotel. In the afternoon, proceed for a soul soothing boat cruise through the backwaters near Thekkady. Thekkady is known for its Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. During your cruise, stopover at this fascinating town and observe the wild animals in their natural habitat. Take a tour around the Spice Plantations or enjoy an elephant ride in the evening (on direct payment basis). Explore the Spice Plantation (which will last for an hour). Return to your hotel in the evening. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 4 : Thekkady – Alleppey (140 Km. 5/6 Hours)

  After an early breakfast, check-out from the hotel at Thekkady and drive to Alleppey and reach there by afternoon. On arrival, check-into houseboat, unpack and relax. Stay overnight at the houseboat.

• Day 5 : Alleppey – Cochin 90 Km.

  After breakfast, check-out from the Houseboat at Alleppey and drive to Cochin Airport for your onward journey.
