Darjeeling - City in West Bengal
Darjeeling is a town in India's West Bengal state, in the Himalayan foothills. Once a summer resort for the British Raj elite, it remains the terminus of the narrow-gauge Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, or “Toy Train,” completed in 1881. It's famed for the distinctive black tea grown on plantations that dot its surrounding slopes. Its backdrop is Mt. Kanchenjunga, among the world’s highest peaks.

Gangtok - City in Sikkim
Gangtok is the capital of the mountainous northern Indian state of Sikkim. Established as a Buddhist pilgrimage site in the 1840s, the city became capital of an independent monarchy after British rule ended, but joined India in 1975. Today, it remains a Tibetan Buddhist center and a base for hikers organizing permits and transport for treks through Sikkim’s Himalayan mountain ranges.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Bagdogra - Darjeeling

  Our tour representative will meet and greet you at the New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport. Next, you will be transferred to Darjeeling. The glorious hill station of Darjeeling is located at an elevation of 2123 metres. Explore the breathtaking views of the Himalayas, scenic valleys, lush green tea gardens and pleasant weather, all these and many more attractions, that makes Darjeeling a perfect hill station in India. You will also get a chance to see famous World Heritage train The Darjeeling Himalayan Railway. Check into the hotel. Evening free to relax and unwind, you can also option for local shopping in the nearby market. Overnight stay will be in Darjeeling.

• Day 2 : Darjeeling

  Early Morning, drive towards Tiger Hill, to view sunrise over Kanchenjunga Peak. On the way back home, visit Ghoom Monastery, Peace Memorial, and Batasia Loop. Return back to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, proceed for another round of sightseeing. Visit the following attractions including Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Ropeway, Tensing Gumpo Rock, Tibetan Refugee, Self Help Center, Tea Estate, Natural History Museum and Peace Pagoda. Return back to the hotel. Evening free to roam around the Mall area or main shopping area. Overnight stay will be at the Darjeeling.

• Day 3 : Darjeeling - Gangtok

  Morning breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Gangtok. The beauty of Gangtok city cannot be described in words as it offers a perfect combination of tourist places, pilgrimage sites and amazing views of the high mountains. Check in at the hotel. After some rest at the hotel, begin your local sightseeing tour of Gangtok. You will be visiting Directorate of Handicrafts and Handloom, Research Institute of Tibetology, Do Drul Chorten, Enchey Monastery, Flower Show. Return back to the hotel. Evening free to relax and unwind. Overnight stay will be in Gangtok.

• Day 4 : Gangtok - Tso Mago Lake / Baba Mandir

  Morning breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for a day excursion trip to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir. Tsomgo Lake is one of the natural tourist attraction which is covered by Snow during most of the seasons. Also visit nearby Baba Mandir, a sacred pilgrimage site for tourist. You can also go for Nathu La Pass to border in Republic of China. Return back to the hotel in Gangtok. Evening is free to roam around on MG Road also famous as Mall Road. You can also go for shopping in local market. Overnight stay will be in Gangtok.
