Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival at Guwahati - Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (GAU) / Guwahati Railway Stat

  On Arrival - Pick-up from Guwahati Airport & straight to Shillong Transfer - It is approximately 100 kilometers in 2½ - 03 hours drive - En route visit: Borapani Umiam Lake, Located about 17 kilometers from Shillong, Umium Lake, surrounded by beautiful hills and a picturesque location is highly refreshing - It has water-sports facilities and the nearby Nehru Park has an Aviary and Orchidarium . Evening if time permits visit local market (Police Bazar) - Overnight at Shillong

• Day 2 : Excursion to Dawki & Mawlynnong

  Early Morning breakfast - Next drive to Dawki - It is approximately 85 Kilometers & is nearly 02 ½ hours one way journey - Attraction is the Umngot River that marks the natural separation between the Khasi and the Jaintia Hills - The river can be forded by a suspension bridge that connects India to Bangladesh - Dawki-Tamabil is one of the few road border crossings between India and Bangladesh - After breakfast excursion to Dawki (Bangladesh border) and then to Mawlynnong the cleanest village in Asia - It is a village in the East Khasi Hills district of the Meghalaya state, India - It is famous for its cleanliness and natural attraction - Later return back to Shillong , enroute lunch and proceed for halfday Shillong sightseeing like Donbosco Museum, the Cathedral Church, Ward's Lake, Lady Hydri Park etc - Return to The Hotel / Resort - Evening if time permits visit local market (Police Bazar) - Night stay at Shillong

  Early Morning breakfast - Next drive to Cherrapunjee via covering Shillong peak and Elephant falls - It is approximately 60 Kilometers i.e. 02 - 2½ hours drive by car - Currently the historical name Sohra is more commonly used is a subdivisional town in the East Khasi Hills in Meghalaya - It is credited as being the wettest place on Earth, although nearby Mawsynram currently holds that record - Cherrapunjee possesses some exotic waterfalls and impressive limestone caves - Visit Dwan Syiem view point, Noh kalikai falls, Mawsmai caves, Seven Sister falls, Eco park etc - Evening if time permits visit local market (Police Bazar) - Night stay at Shillong
