Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : ARRIVE IN CHANDIGARH – DHARAMSHALA (approx 255 km)

  Arrive at Chandigarh, the capital city of 02 States and the Union territory. Get received by our
  representative and transfer to Dharamshala, a picture perfect hill station in Himachal Pradesh.
  On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Spend the evening at leisure. Enjoy dinner and stay overnight
  in the hotel.

• Day 2 : DHARAMSHALA LOCAL

  After breakfast start for Dharamshala / Mcleodganj sightseeing. this includes ST. JOHN'S
  CHURCH : 8 km from Dharamsala, between Forsythganj and Mcleodganj is the charming
  church of St. John in the Wilderness. Under the shade of deodar branches, a memorial has
  been erected over the body of the British Viceroy, Lord Elgin who died at Dharamsala in 1863.
  There is a well tended old graveyard on these grassy sloped.
  MCLEODGANJ : Often called the Little Lhasa, at 1770m is the residence of His Holiness, The
  Dalai Lama. The Tibetan Government in exile has been head quartered here for over three
  decades. The impressive monastery has larger than life images of the Buddha,
  Padmasambhava and Avaloktwshwara. The large Tibetan community and the presence of
  traditional architectural designs drawn from Tibet have enhanced the area. Tibetian handicrafts
  and garments are available on sale every Sunday. The Tibetian Institute of Performing Arts is
  just a km away and organises a ten day festival from the second Saturday of April.
  DAL LAKE : 11 km from Dharamsala and surrounded by deodar trees this is an enchanting and
  serene picnic spot.

• Day 3 : DHARAMSHALA – DALHOUSIE (approx 120 km)

  After Breakfast start for the beautiful Hill station Dalhousie. Reach in the evening and checkin to
  the hotel. Evening free for shopping and at leisure.

• Day 4 : DALHOUSIE – KHAJJIAR- DAINIKUND-DALHOUSIE

  After breakfast start for the local sightseeing of Dalhousie. Visit the Mini Switzerland of India –
  Khajjiar, the lush green meadows, covered with snow during winters is an incredible sight. Later
  visit the Dainikund peak / temple a short trek but a fantastic location. Dinner and overnight.

• Day 5 : DALHOUSIE – AMRITSAR (approx 185 km)

  After breakfast checkout and start for Amritsar. Upon reaching check-in to the hotel and start for
  the Jallianwala Baugh- the emotional saga depicting the heroic sacrifice of Indian Freedom
  struggle.Late afternoon start for Wagha border for the famous evening parade with Flags
  
  hoisting and loud chants & cheers from either sides. Return to Amritsar and visit the holy
  Golden temple. Overnight in the hotel.

  • Hotspots : Golden Temple

• Day 6 : AMRITSAR – CHANDIGARH

  After breakfast, drive back to Chandigarh. On arrival, check-in at the hotel later visit the Rock
  Garden and Sukhana Lake. Spend the evening at leisure.

• Day 7 : CHANDIGARH – DEPARTURE

  After breakfast,. Enjoy your lunch and transfer to the Chandigarh airport/railway station.
