Day 1 : Amritsar Golden Temple
Upon arrival meet and Greet by our representative at Amritsar Railway station /Airport and transfer to Amritsar hotel. After fresh up Start your full day city tour with the blessings of Golden Temple-the most important Sikh shrine which is also called Mecca for the Sikhs is a living symbol of the spiritual and historical traditions of the Sikhs.
Then visit Jallianwala Bagh- where, on April 13, 1919, British and Gurkha soldiers opened fire on an unarmed forbidden gathering, killing hundreds of civilians. After Lunch, visit Wagah Border the border between India and Pakistan for beating the retreat ceremony at wagah border .Back to Hotel. Overnight stay in Hotel in Amritsar.
Day 2 : Amritsar - Katra
After breakfast morning drive 275kms to Katra. Arrive Katra in the evening. Check in the Hotel. Overnight stay in Katra Hotel.
Day 3 : Vaishno Devi
Morning after breakfast start 13 km trekking for the Darshan of Mata Vaishno Devi, Back to Hotel, Overnight stay in Katra hotel.
Day 4 : Chamunda Devi, Kangra Ji, Jawala Ji
After breakfast visit Chamunda Devi, also known as Chamundi and Charchika, is a fearsome aspect of Devi, the Divine Mother and one of the seven Matrikas (mother goddesses). The name is a combination of Chanda and Munda, two monsters whom Chamunda killed. Here Lord Shiva is present in the form of death, destruction & dead bodies along with Devi Chamunda. In the temple the devotees can see scenes from the Devi Mahatmya, Ramayana and Mahabharata. On either side of the Devi's image is Hanuman and Bhairo. Then visit Brajeshwar Temples in KANGRA This temple is dedicated to Sui Mata, the local princess of Chamba who sacrifice her life for the people of her kingdom. Colourful paintings on the temple wall depicts the story of SuiMata. The style which makes the temple different from others is the Shikara style and in top there is a wooden amalaka. After Darshans proceed to JAWALAMUKHI (55kms). Check in hotel and after lunch visit Jawalaji Temple also called the "Flaming Goddess" or "She of the flaming mouth". It lies in the valley of Beas and is built over some natural jets of combustible gas believed to be a manifestation of the goddess Devi Bhagwati Jawalamukhi. A legend avers that the flames proceed from the mouth of demon Jalandhara, the Daitya King whom Shiva over-whelmed with mountains. Overnight in hotel at Jawalamukhi.
Day 5 : Bagalamukhi Devi
After breakfast visit Bagalamukhi Devi Temple. In Hinduism, Bagalamukhi or Bagala is one of the ten mahavidya goddesses. Bagalamukhi Devi smashes the devotee's misconceptions and delusions by her cudgel. She is also known as 'Pitambara' in Northern Parts of India. "Bagalamukhi" is derived from "Bagala" (distortion of the original Sanskrit root "valga") and "mukha", meaning "bridle" and "face", respectively. Thus, the name means one whose face has the power to capture or control. She thus represents the hypnotic power of the Goddess. Overnight stay in Jwalaji.
Day 6 : Chintpurni Ji, Sheetala Devi
After breakfast drive to Chintpurni JI temple in Una, Mata Chintpurni Devi is also known as Mata Shri Chhinnamastika Devi. Devotees have been visiting this Shaktipeeth for centuries to pray at the lotus feet of Mata Shri Chhinnamastika Devi. They bring with them their worldly concerns and seek blessings from the Devi. It is believed that if you ask something from the Devi with a true heart, your wish will be granted.
Sheetla Devi temple in una himachal Pradesh sheetla Devi Temple is dedicated to another from of Goddess Durga, wit lodging facilities available in a nearby hill town. In Hinduism, Goddess Shitala, or Sheetala Mata, is considered an aspect of Shakti. Popularly she is the Hindu goddess of small pox in North India and is known to spread the dreaded disease and cure it. In rural India, she is also considered as an incarnation of Goddess Parvati and Durga, which are two forms of Shakti. She is undoubtedly one of the most popular rural deities and her origin can be traced to the days of Nature Worship.
Day 7 : Naina Devi
After breakfast visit Naina Devi Temple is one of the fifty-one Shakti Peeths in India. Situated 60 km from Bilaspur district in Himachal Pradesh, Naina Devi Temple is one of the highly venerated Shakti Temples in India. According to Hindu mythology, sati, consort of Lord Shiva, killed herself by jumping in the sacrificial fire when her father Daksha Prajapati insulted her husband. Lord Vishnu dismembered the dead body of Sati to calm down the anger of Shiva. Various body parts of Sati fell at fifty-one different places in India that later became sacred as Shakti Peeths. It is believed that eyes of Sati fell here and later a Temple was built at this very place. The Naina Devi Temple is situated over a small yet picturesque hill. Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 8 : Manasa Devi
Mata Mansa Devi Temple at Panchkula is a symbol of Himalayan culture and faith. The shrine located on the foot hills of Shivalik is an epitome of age old tradition of 'Shakti' worship in northern India. The present main temple of Shri Mansa Devi, which is situated on the Shivalik foothills in village Bilaspur, Tehsil and District Panchkula, during the period 1811-1815. At a distance of 200 meters from the main temple is the Patiala temple which was got constructed by Sh. Karam Singh, the then Maharaja Patiala in the year 1840. The temple remains open from 4-00 A.M. to 10-00 P.M. in the summer and from 5-00 A.M. to 9-00 P.M. in the winter. Every body can have Darshan during this period by entering from main gate. Overnight stay at Chandigarh hotel.
Day 9 : Amritsar
Early morning you will drive Amritsar/Chandigarh. Driver will drop you at Amritsar/Chandigarh Railway Station /Airport.
