• Day 1 : Manali

The hill station of Manali is located in the valley of the Beas River. It lies about 40 km away from another picturesque hill station – Kullu. It is believed that this place has been named after Manu, considered to the lawgiver of the Hindus. There is an ancient temple, devoted to Lord Manu in Manali. After reaching Manali, take some rest. Thereafter, you can spend your time in leisure activities by visiting the local markets, especially the Mall Road to shop for various items this hill station is known for. You can also go to the Tibetan Market and Old Manali market to learn about the lifestyle of this quaint town. Some of the things that you can opt to buy in Manali are woollen wear, wall hangings, Buddhist artefacts and paintings, small idols of Lord Buddha, carpets and shawls.

• Day 2 : Rohtang Pass
