The Annapurna Base Camp Heli trek 11-day trekking journey to the South Face of Annapurna I, which involves walking through diverse Nepalese landscapes and experiencing local culture. During this trek, you'll have the opportunity to visit UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu, witness breathtaking Himalayan views, and watch the sunrise over the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges from Poon Hill. This itinerary is designed for trekkers who want to enjoy a relaxed journey to the Annapurna base camp and who are also tight on their schedule. Instead of trekking back using the same way, we take the majestic flight to Pokhara valley. However, for those with enough time, the Annapurna Sanctuary Trek-14 days would be a more suitable option.
Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu 1400m/4594ft
A representative from Kantipur Holidays will meet us at the Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu and transfer us to our designated hotel. We might rest after checking in or go to the Kantipur Holidays office. A welcome dinner with authentic Nepali food and a quick cultural presentation will be held in a typical Nepalese restaurant in the evening.
Meals: Welcome Dinner
Day 2 : Kathmandu Sightseeing
After breakfast today, we begin a guided tour of some of Kathmandu's most revered historical and spiritual landmarks, which are also regarded as UNESCO World Heritage sites. After a short rest, we will head to Hile, which is where our trek begins. During the trek, we will pass through sub-tropical valley forests and may have to navigate on carved trails on the side of cliffs. After having lunch, we will cross the Bhurungdi Khola via a bridge to the village of Tikhedhunga.
