On the trail to Annapurna Base Camp from Machhapuchhre Base Camp the vegetation disappears as we walk through grassland and boulders along the small streams into the sanctuary. As the path widens you will see the 360 degree panoramic view of the surrounding mountains. The Annapurna Sanctuary boasts stunning close up views of Annapurna South, Annapurna 1, Machhapuchhre, Hiunchuli and other peaks. Annapurna Base Camp being the epicenter of the sanctuary.
