Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu 1400m/4594ft
A representative from Kantipur Holidays will meet us at the Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu and transfer us to our designated hotel. We might rest after checking in or go to the Kantipur Holidays office. A welcome dinner with authentic Nepali food and a quick cultural presentation will be held in a typical Nepalese restaurant in the evening.

Day 2 : Kathmandu Sightseeing
After breakfast today, we begin a guided tour of some of Kathmandu's most revered historical and spiritual landmarks, which are also regarded as UNESCO World Heritage sites. We go to the historic Kathmandu Durbar Square, the holy Pashupatinath Hindu temple, the well-known Swayambhunath "Monkey Temple," and the Buddhist shrine Bouddhanath, which is also one of the biggest stupas in the world. We check our gear with our trekking guide at lunchtime, meet the other participants, and talk about our trip at the Kantipur Holidays office.

Day 3 : Drive to Pokhara and trek preparation 822m/2696ft
We will depart from Kathmandu after an early breakfast and head towards Pokhara, known as the Lake City of Nepal. The journey will take approximately 6 to 7 hours, including a stop for lunch at a typical Nepali roadside café. Upon arrival in Pokhara, we will be taken to our designated hotel to rest and relax. Later in the early evening, we will have a meeting with our trek leader who will brief us about our upcoming trek in the Annapurna region. The trek leader will explain the details of the trek, give us an idea of what to expect on a daily basis, and ensure that we have the necessary equipment for the trek.

Day 4 : Drive to Nayapul, hike to Birethanti 1150m/3773ft
After breakfast in Pokhara, we will drive for approximately 1 hour to Nayapul, which is the starting point of our trek. We will follow a ridgeline on the lower foothills of Annapurna while enjoying panoramic views of Pokhara in the background. We will start our walk at a slow pace and have our lunch at a point in between before reaching our destination for the day. After lunch, we will continue walking on a downhill track that drops until we start following the Modi River Valley until we reach Birethanti. From there, we will be transferred to Sanctuary Lodge, which is the first of our comfortable Ker and Downey lodges. This lodge has been constructed in a traditional mountain style by local artisans.

Day 5 : Trek to Ghandruk 1940m/6365ft
After breakfast at the Sanctuary Lodge, we will start our day's hike by walking past farms and following the Modi River Valley again. After walking for some time, we will begin to climb out of the river valley and ascend towards the mountainous segments. During the ascent, we will cross several tiny villages, terraced rice fields, and forests while enjoying spectacular views of the surrounding valley. Once we reach Ghandruk and Himalayan Lodge, where we will spend the night, we will have lunch. After lunch, we will go to our rooms, which provide magnificent close-up views of the Annapurna peaks and relax for the remaining time.

Day 6 : Trek to Landruk 1565m/5135ft
We will wake up to morning tea and enjoy coffee in the garden area while witnessing the sunrise over the magnificent Himalayan peaks, including Annapurna ranges, Mt. Hiunchuli, Mt. Gangapurna, and Mt. Machhapuchhre. After having breakfast while admiring the splendid views, we will resume our trek, leaving Landruk behind. We will descend on a steep trail that leads to the banks of the Modi River and cross a sturdy suspension bridge to reach the other side. Continuing our trek, we will walk through bends and corners for around an hour until we reach the Gurung Village of Landruk and enter the La Bee Lodge, where we will spend the night. Perched on a cliff edge with breathtaking views that extend far into the distance, Landruk offers some glorious views of the Annapurna peaks. We will have our lunch at the lodge and rest for a while before exploring the village in the late afternoon.

Day 7 : Trek to Majgaon 1400m/4593ft
After enjoying breakfast at La Bee Lodge, we will begin our trek towards Majgaun. The trail will lead us along the hillside, with some gentle uphill and downhill stretches, as we pass through small villages and farms. Eventually, we will arrive at the village of Majgaun and make our way to Gurung Lodge, which will be our final Ker and Downey accommodation on this trip. Once there, we will enjoy a hot lunch before taking some time to relax in our rooms. The rest of the afternoon will be free for us to explore the surrounding areas and take in the breathtaking views.

Day 8 : Trek to Dhampus 1650m/5414ft
We will leave Gurung Lodge after breakfast and continue trekking towards Patlekhet, which is a small village on the way towards Pothana. Trekking through sub-tropical forests on most sections of the trail, we will reach Basanta Lodge nearby the Dhampus Village. We will be served with hot lunch on arrival at the lodge after which we may relax for some time in our room. The spectacular views of the entire Annapurna range from Dhampus is a soothing moment and helps us to forget our tiredness. After lunch, we are free to take a short walk to Dhampus Village if we wish to, or just relax and enjoy the awesome scenery from our lodge.

Day 9 : Trek to Phedi, drive to Pokhara
After having breakfast, we start our descent by walking down a stone staircase alongside the hillside and terraced farmlands until we reach the valley floor. We will continue to trek for approximately two hours until we reach Phedi, from where we will take a private vehicle to Pokhara. Upon reaching Pokhara, we will be escorted to our hotel room and will have the remainder of the afternoon to explore the lakeside area or do some shopping. We may also opt to visit the Mountain Museum or take a tranquil boat ride on the stunning Phewa Lake if time allows.

Day 10 : Drive to Chitwan, village walks 415m/1362ft
We will leave Pokhara today and head to Chitwan, lowlands of Nepal. Upon arrival, we will check into our hotel and receive instructions on the various activities planned during our stay at Chitwan National Park. Later, we will walk along the Rapti River, which is located in the sub-tropical jungles of Chitwan, to witness the sunset. We will also go on a village walk to learn about the lifestyle of the Tharu people, who are native to the region. In the evening, we will enjoy a dinner accompanied by a cultural program that will showcase the tribal dances unique to the Chitwan area.

Day 11 : Jungle Activities in Chitwan National Park
Today, we will be engaged in activities including a jeep safari looking out for Chitwan’s famous rare one-horned rhino, bird-watching, jungle walks and a dugout canoe ride down the Rapti River. While canoeing, we may get a close look at the gharial and mugger crocodiles along with fresh water dolphins, otters and varieties of water birds. Time permitting, we will go for bird watching or nature walk in the company of trained native naturalists in the less densely forested areas of the park. Today is the day when we can come closer to a variety of wild flora and fauna found in Chitwan National Park in Chitwan. After exploration of the park, we will come back to our hotel room and rest for the remaining time before dinner.

Day 12 : Fly back to Kathmandu
Once we finish our breakfast, we will pack our belongings and prepare for a short 25-minute flight to Kathmandu. We will be taken to the domestic airport well before our scheduled departure time. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, we will check-in to our hotel room and take some time to unwind. The afternoon is at our leisure to explore the city, go shopping for local souvenirs or last-minute gifts. In the evening, we will gather for a farewell dinner to commemorate the conclusion of our successful journey in Nepal.

Day 13 : Final Departure
Today marks the end of your adventure in Nepal! You can spend your time exchanging email addresses with your travel companions and sorting through your photos. A representative from Kantipur Holidays will accompany you to the airport about 3 hours before your scheduled flight. As you travel back home, you'll have ample time to plan your next exciting trip to Nepal.
