This trip consists of the sightseeing tour around Kathmandu Valley and, Pokhara Valley. Flight to Pokhara would be a scenic flight with a fascinating view of the mountains. Every Day Hike for five hours, through the foothills of Annapurna Himalayan Range.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m), transfer to hotel, welcome dinner

A representative from Trekking Mart welcomes you at arrival gate of Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu. Then you will be taken to hotel and rest of day will be spend in relax. At evening we offer you a welcome dinner in typical Nepali restaurant where you can enjoy Nepalese cultural dance presentation as well.

Day 2 : Kathmandu sightseeing and trek preparation

Our second day is for a sightseeing tour to several of the cultural UNESCO world heritage sites of Kathmandu city. An expert city guide will guide us to sacred Hindu temples, Buddhist shrines and historical monuments as you become acquainted with Nepalese culture and traditions. Swayambhunath, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath temple, Boudhanath stupa and their extreme art and architecture are our center of attraction. Thereafter, Trekking Mart will organize a trek orientation program and also assist you on trekking preparation (equipment’s packing, etc).

Day 3 : Fly to Pokhara (820m) drive to Lumle and Trek to Birethanti (1,100m)

Breakfast at the hotel is followed by transfer to the airport to fly to Pokhara. You will be met by all crew members at Pokhara airport. After that, drive to Lumle and start to trek towards Birethanti.

Day 4 : Trek to Himalaya Lodge in Ghandruk ( 2,012m.)

After your breakfast, you will start walking through the outlying farms following the Modi River Valley. You can explore spectacular views of thelush forests with surrounding valley you will pass through small hamlets, terraced rice fields and the mesmerizing beauty of the nature. After a relaxing walk of 5 - 6 hours, you will reach the Himalaya Lodge at Ghandruk. After reaching the lodge you can spend the rest of the time relaxing enjoying the views of the beautiful surrounding mountains.

Day 5 : Trek to bee lodge in Landruk (1,596)

After breakfast at Ghandruk, you’ll be walking towards Landruk located at an altitude of 1565m. The trail descends steeply to the banks of Modi River. After crossing the Modi River, you will be walking further for an hour to reach the village of Landruk. Passing the way through this village, it offers more glorious views of Annapurna Range and beautiful nature. After having lunch at La Bee Lodge you can explore this area if you have more energy to hike.

Day 6 : Trek to Gurung Lodge in Majgaun (1,400m)

After breakfast, you will leave the Bee Lodge & start trek to Majgaon. This trek contours the side of the hill, with small ups and downs, passing through villages and farmland. It takes about 4 hours to the lodge. For lunch you’ll reach to Gurung Lodge and you can hike the surroundings of the village.

Day 7 : Trek To Basanta Lodge in Dhampus (1,554M)

This morning, you will trek towards Basanta Lodge Dhampus. While walking through the sub-tropical forests of orchids, rhododendrons, and magnolias, you will get to stop at the village of Pothana where many Tibetan traders live. After walking about 4.5 hours, you will arrive at the Basanta Lodge. From the lodge, there are amazing views of the full Annapurna Range. After lunch at the lodge, there will be a walk through the old village of Dhampus.

Day 8 : Trek To Pokhara and Half Day Tour

After an early breakfast, a walk for around 1.5 hours, you will see your vehicle waiting for you to drive back to Pokhara. On the way back to Pokhara you can enjoy the ride and the beautiful scenery. After reaching Pokhara, where you’ll enjoy a much appreciated rest in your hotel and can have half day tour at Pokhara where you can do shopping and roam around the beautiful city of Pokhara.

Day 9 : Fly to Kathmandu

Early morning you’ll fly back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, a transfer to your chosen hotel, you’ll then have the rest of the day to do whatever you like. This may be simply relaxing or exploring Kathmandu. You may even wish to do some last-minute shopping for yourself, friends and family before farewell dinner. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 10 : Final departure to the international airport
