Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Cochin - Munnar (Munnar)

Arrival at Cochin and transfer to Munnar. This beautiful hill station was once the summer capital of the British Government in India. The never ending vast expanse of tea plantations and the round the year moderate climate makes it a little haven for visitors. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 2 : Munnar Tour

After breakfast proceed to Rajamala (Eravikulam National Park) - house of the highly endangered mountain goats - the Nilgiri Thars, Lakkam Waterfalls, echo point, shooting point and Mattupetty Dam. Speed boating facilities are available here. The dam is flanked by forests and wast expanse of grass land on one side and the Kundala tea plantation on the other. Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 3 : Munnar - Thekkady / Periyar

Morning after breakfast transfer to Thekkady. Afternoon visit Periyar lake around which the sanctuary is built, for boating. This is the only sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing the wild life at close quarters from the safety of a boat. Stay in Thekkady.

Day 4 : Thekkady Local Tour

Morning after breakfast proceed for a local tour of Thekkady..
Activities: Spice shopping, Kathakali and Kalaripayattu show. Overnight at Thekkady.

Day 5 : Thekkady - Alleppey

After breakfast proceed to Alleppey. Check in to the house boat in Alleppey by noon for cruising through legendary backwaters of Kerala. On the way you will witness a full range of lives and activities and some mind boggling sceneries. Overnight in the house boat. House boat is a private boat with fully furnished spacious bath attached bed rooms, hygiene kitchen, dining area and private front deck to capture the beauty of the back waters.

Day 6 : Alleppey - Cochin

Rates are not valid for long weekend and festive season.

Package valid only for Indian nationals.

Any Kind of jungle safaris are not included.

Hotels are subject to availability.

It is mandatory for guests to present valid photo identification at the time of check-in.

The identification proofs accepted are Driving License, Voters Card, Passport, Ration Card. Without valid ID the guest will not be allowed to check in. Note- PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.

All transfers and sightseeing are as per the Itinerary/package and in case of Air Conditioned vehicles, It will be switched off in the hills.

The inclusion of extra bed with a booking is facilitated with a folding cot or a mattress as an extra bed.

Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may be chargeable by the hotel. The standard check-in time is 1300hrs and the standard check-out time is 1000hrs.

Any kind of personal expenses (Laundry, room service etc..) or optional tours/ extra meals are not inclusive in the package cost.

The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Via.com will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.

In case of non-availability of above mentioned hotels similar category hotel will be provided.
