Arunachal Pradesh is one of the 29 states of India and is the northeastern-most state of the country. Arunachal Pradesh borders the states of Assam and Nagaland to the south and shares international borders with Bhutan in the west, Myanmar in the east and is separated from China in the north by the McMahon Line.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : MUMBAI - GUWAHATI BY AIR

  Arrival at Guwahati Airport, drive to Hotel, Fresh Up, after Lunch Proceed to visit Kamakhya Temple which is one of the shaktipith from 51 pithas situated on the beautiful hill at Guwahati. Overnight stay at Guwahati

• Day 2 : GUWAHATI - CHERRAPUNJI - SHILLONG

  Proceed to Shillong Known as the ‘Scotland of the East’. Reach and check-in to the Hotel. Inroute our breakfast is on the bank of Umium Lake - surrounded by sylvan after breakfast proceed to Cherapunjee, the place that receives the highest rainfall in the World. On arrival at Cherrapunji, visit Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sister Falls. On returning back visit Mawsmai cave, an 150 Mtr cave, Elephanta falls. Overnight stay at Shillong

• Day 3 : SHILLONG - MAWLYNNONG - SHILLONG

  After breakfast proceed to Dawki (Bangladesh Border) and enjoy boating at Dawki River.After breakfast drive to Mawlynnong Village known as the cleanest village in Asia and the God’s own Garden. On arrival, visit the Living Root Bridge, a natural bridge formed with the roots of the trees. A little hiking is required to see the magnificent bridge (hiking approx 15 mt.). Overnight at Shillong.

• Day 4 : SHILLONG - KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK

  Early morning proceed for Kaziranga National Park - The land of one horned rhino. Enroute sightseeing Tea Garden. In the evening, enjoy Assam’s Cultural dance (Bihu) at Rang Sandhya Auditorium. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

• Day 5 : KAZIRANGA - BHALUKPONG

  Early morning proceed for the exclusive jeep safari or elephant safari at any of the range (Eastern/Central). Explore the wildlife of Kaziranga specially the pride of Assam, One horned Rhinoceros, Wild Buffalo, Hog Deer, Swamp deer, red headed bill and various flora and faunas.Return back to hotel by lunch. After Lunch proceed to Bhalukpong, overnight at Bhalukpong.

• Day 6 : BHALUKPONG - DIRANG

  After B.Fast Proceed for Dirang. On the way visit Tippi On the banks of the river Bharali at an elevation of 190 mtrs is Tipi, an orchidarium with over 7500 orchids. Arunachal has the largest range of orchids in the country. Continue your drive and do not forget to keep your cameras handy as you cross beautiful waterfalls and get some spectacular views. Check in to your hotel. After lunch visit the regional apple Nursery, kiwi farm and hot water Spring. Overnight stay in Dirang.

• Day 7 : DIRANG - TAWANG (145 kms 6 hrs)

  In the morning after breakfast drive to Tawang, en-route enjoy the beauty of Sella Pass and Sella lake at 13,700 ft. and visit Yak Breeding Centre, The Hot Spring & Nag Mandir. Tawang is located at an altitude of 3500 m above the sea level and was at part of the Kingdom of Tibet during the medieval times. Reach in the early evening, Check in hotel, Overnight in Tawang.

• Day 8 : TAWANG

  After breakfast drive high above town to the high altitude lakes of Pangong Tang Tso (popularly known as PT Tso) and Bumala pass one of China boarder of India. Then visit famous Tawang Monastery. The 300 year old Monastery, locally called "Gompa" is considered to be the oldest in India and second largest Monastery in Asia after Lhasa in Tibet. This is an extremely scenic view of the township below. Return in time for lunch. Post lunch enjoy the Kiwi Farm day at leisure. Walk into the town and do some shopping or you can visit the Craft Center. overnight at Tawang.

• Day 9 : TAWANG – BOMDILA (185 kms / 8 hr.)

  Morning drive to Bomdila that is situated at an altitude of 8000 ft. From here one can see the brilliant landscape and snow-clad mountains of the Himalayan Range. Check in the hotel on arrival. After lunch visit Gontse Rabgyaling Monastery (Upper Gonpa), Thub-Chog Gatsel Ling Monastery (Lower Gonpa), Bomdila View Point. Bomdila offers wonderfully panoramic view of Himalayan landscapes and snow clad ranges. Evening you can visit the local market. Overnight stay in Bomdila.

• Day 10 : BOMDILA - GUWAHATI (225 Kms / 6 Hrs)

  After Breakfast proceed to Guwahati On arrival Check in at hotel and relax. Rest of the time is free at leisure. Overnight at Guwahati.

  This morning after breakfast Proceed to visit and enjoy the boat ride in Brahmaputra river for visiting Umananda Temple situated in a small Peacock Island in Brahmaputra. Transfer to Guwahati airport to depart by for Mumbai. And end of Memorable Tour conducted by Kirti Holidays
