Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Tiruthanai Murugan Temple, & Swamimalai

  On arrival at Chennai’s Anna International airport, drive to Tiruthani Murugan Temple believed to be Lord Muruga’s stop over after defeating the demon King Surapadman. After dharshan proceed to Kumbakonam. Post lunch we visit the holy Shrine of Swamimalai Murugan from where originated the Sacred Pranava Mantra “Om” to Lord Shiva and so engaged with the title ‘Swaminatha’ (Lord of Lords). After dharshan drive to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

• Day 2 : Palanimalai

  After breakfast we drive to Palanimalai, situated at an altitude of 150 feet above the sea level. Here Lord Muruga is referred to as 'Lord Dandayudhapani’, having the staff in his hand and is an amalgamation of nine minerals known as ‘Navabashana’, following which we proceed to Madurai for dinner and overnight stay.

• Day 3 : Thiruparankundram Murugan Temple & Pazhamudircholai Temple

  After breakfast we drive to Thiruparankundram Murugan temple, where the divine marriage of Lord Murugan with Goddess Deivanai took place, hence considered a sacred place for marriages. After dharshan and drive to Pazhamudircholai temple where Lord Muruga stands in a single face posture with Goddesses Valli and Deivanai, we then drive to Thiruchendur for dinner and overnight stay.

• Day 4 : Thiruchendur Murugan

  After breakfast we have dharshan of Thiruchendur Murugan, commemorating Lord Murugas decisive victory over demon Surapadman. After lunch drive to Madurai Airport (or) proceed to Chennai over night.
