Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival at Chennai

  Today as per your flight schedule arrive at Chennai airport where you will be given a warm welcome by our company tour executive who will introduce the driver to you. Then you will be transferred to the hotel and relax. Later proceed to visit the famous temples like Kapaleeshwara temple at Mylapore, Parthasarathy temple at Triplicane, Santhome Cathedral, Fort St. George. Evening relax at Marina beach (world's second largest beach). Overnight stay at Chennai.

• Day 2 : Chennai - Tiruthani - Thiruvannamalai (250kms / 5hrs drive)

  This day after breakfast proceed to visit Tiruthani temple of lord Muruga (one of the Arupadai veedu of lord Muruga). After dharshan drive towards Thiruvannamalai which is world renowned pilgrim center located at the foot hills of Annamalai hills and it is one of the Pancha Bhoota Stalam of lord Shiva represents Fire. On reaching check in to the hotel then after fresh-up start to visit Arunachaleeshwara temple and offer your prayers. Later you have an option to visit Ramana Maharishi Ashram. Overnight stay at Thiruvannamalai.
• Day 3 : Thiruvannamalai - Trichy (230kms / 5hrs drive)

  After breakfast drive towards Trichy and visit Sriranganathaswamy temple of lord Vishnu which is the largest functioning Hindu temple in the world and one of the 108 Divya Desams. Later check in to the hotel and relax. Evening proceed to visit Rockfort temple of lord Ganesha (Uchi Pillaiyar temple) which is the landmark of the city. This temple will give you the full view of the city and around the fort you can find the famous textile shops and jewelry shops. After shopping proceed to the hotel for overnight stay.
• Day 4 : Trichy - Palani - Madurai (270kms / 6hrs drive)

  This day after breakfast drive to Palani Murugan temple (one of the Arupadai veedu of lord Muruga). After dharshan drive towards Madurai check in to the hotel and relax. Evening start to visit the famous Meenakshi Amman temple which is the most attractive example of Dravidian architecture. After dharshan visit the local flower markets and do shopping around the town. Overnight stay at Madurai.
• Day 5 : Madurai

  Today morning start to visit Thirumalai Nayakkar Palace. The architecture of this palace is a fusion of Dravidian and Islamic styles and the interiors are richly decorated. It is declared as a national monument and lot of film shooting film taken in this palace. Then proceed to visit Gandhi museum (Memorial of Gandhi Ji) where you can find some original and replicas of Gandhi's personal belongings. After lunch relax in the hotel. Evening proceed to visit Thiruparamgundram temple of lord Muruga and Palamudhirsolai temple of lord Muruga (One of the Arupadai veedu of lord Muruga). At the entrance of Palamudhirsolai temple you can do dharshan at Azhagar temple dedicated to lord Vishnu. Have a sound sleep at Madurai.
• Day 6 : Madurai - Kanyakumari (260kms / 6hrs drive)

  After breakfast drive to Kanyakumari which lies in the southernmost tip of India. On reaching check in to the hotel then proceed to take a short boat ride (it's depends on the weather condition) to visit the tremendous 95 feet Thiruvalluvar statue, Vivekananda Memorial, Gandhi Mandapam then visit Kanyakumari Amman temple. You can enjoy the evening with the beautiful sunset. Overnight stay at Kanyakumari.

• Day 7 : Kanyakumari - Tiruchendur - Rameshwaram (320kms / 7hrs drive)

  Start early morning with the sunrise then move to visit Tiruchendur Murugan temple (one of the Arupadai veedu of lord Muruga). Later proceed towards Rameshwaram which is a famous Hindu pilgrimage place. People from all around the world visit this temple and take a dip in the 22 holy well theertham to cleanse their soul from sin. Offer your prayers at Sri Ramanathaswamy temple then move to visit another important place called Ramar Padam or Gandhamadana Parvatham. Ramar Padam has the foot print of Lord Rama and is sacred place for Hindus. After visiting move to the hotel for overnight stay.

• Day 8 : Rameshwaram - Kumbakonam (290kms / 6hrs drive)

  Today after breakfast drive to Kumbakonam (Temple Town) check in to the hotel and relax. Later in the evening proceed to visit Swamimalai Murugan temple of lord Muruga (one of the Arupadai veedu of lord Muruga), Adhi Kumbeshwara temple of lord Shiva, Nageswaraswami temple then you can visit bronze factories and silk weaving centers. Overnight stay at Kumbakonam.
• Day 9 : Kumbakonam - Chennai (310kms / 7hrs drive)

  Early morning after breakfast drive to Chennai check in to the hotel and spend the day for shopping and come around the shopping areas like T. Nagar and Pondy bazaar to get all goods at best possible rates. You can visit the famous shopping malls like Skywalk, Express Avenue, etc.. Overnight stay at Chennai.
• Day 10 : Chennai Departure

  Today you will be transferred to the Chennai Airport as per the flight schedule for your onward journey with sweet memories of your trip.
