Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 :

  The group travelling by flight reaching Guwahati at 7:00pm, Pick up by Uber taxi service and be dropped at hotel. The group travelling by train reaching Kamakhya at 6:30pm.
• Day 2 :

  Departure from hotel 7:30am reach Nemati Ghat by Cross over the mighty Brahamaputra river by ferry, along with the vehicle.
  
  Night halt: Happy home resort,
• Day 3 :

  Majuli: contact Jayanta hazarika for handloom prouduct ,Visit schools, Weaving households, boating in a tributary by the country boat. Mask making activity at Samuguri satra, attend nam kirtan at nam ghar.

• Day 4 :

  departure from Majuli, Departure: latest by 8:00 after the breakfast. The other option is to skip breakfast, cross over the river and halt at road side Dhaba for garam garam Puri-bhaji on banana leaf. Travel by road &cross over the state of Assam to Nagaland after Mariani at a place called Nagajunka. On the way, on the Assam side, visit a tea garden, now the tea plucking season is in full swing, and the garden that you are visiting has a tea factory also. Expected time of reaching Mokokchung 4:00pm
  
  Night halt at hotel: Hotel Metsuben.
• Day 5 :

  Mokokchung is the home area of AO tribes considered to be the most advanced among all Naga tribes. Places of interest vist changki village known to be the only village in Ao area that has terrace cultivation of rice all other villages practice thum (shifting) cultivation other villages of interest UNGMA,CHCHUIMLANG (where Natwar thakar’s Gandhi ashram is situated )& see places around the town.
• Day 6 :

  start after breakfast Mokokchung – kohima via Wolkha distance = 180km. road condition like the surface of moon. Time = 6 ½ hours lunch at Wokha town(home of Lotha tribals) reach Kohima by 3:00, around daytime.
  
  Night halt at hotel – Holiday Inn,
• Day 7 :

  Kohima town It is the capital of: Nagaland and home of Angami tribe. War cemetery, Bara basti, visit handloom &handicraft show rooms, visit Naga mother’s association.
• Day 8 :

  at 8:00am leave Kohima on the way visit village Khonoma village known as the oldest village in Naga area & WW II museum in the same village. Distance between kohima – Imphal = 150km Expected time: 5 to 6 hours reach Imphal by 3:00pm.
  
  Night halt at hotel: Hotel Nirmala.
• Day 9 :

  leave after breakfast at 7:00am, Imphal – Moreh (border town of Burma) distance = 120km, time taken 4 hours visit Tamu (5km within Mayanmar territory return by 5:00pm & visit the market place.
• Day 10 :

  Leave After Breakfast : 8:00 Am, Visit: Loktak Lake Nearby is Keibul Lamjao Park the Only Floating National Park in the World, On the Way Back to Visit Town Called Moirang this is the Village Where Subhash Chandra Bose Had First Unfurled the Indian National Army Flag Ina Museum is also Situated Here

• Day 11 :

  Leave Imphal after breakfast at about 8.00 am. Via Kohima, Dimapur, reach Kaziranga. Distance: 380 km. Expected time taken 8 hour. Lunch at Dimapur.
• Day 12 :

  Early morning – Elephant safari later Jeep safari also possible and one can see migratory birds at the Park. Afternoon, start for Guwahati, distance to Guwahati time needed 5 hours. Night Halt at Guwahati

  Departure at Train – at 20: 30 ( checkout time for guest house is 1 PM.)
