Day 1 : Arrive Dibrugarh to Tengapani (123 km / approx. 3.3 hours)
You will be received by our representative driver and will be safely driven to Tengapani Eco Resort In Arunachal Pradesh which is 123 km from Dibrugarh and takes about 3 Hrs 30mins.On arrival, check-in the Resort for an overnight stay in Tengapani and enjoy the night ambience at the Golden Pagoda adjacent. Have dinner and enjoy an overnight stay at the resort.
Day 2 : Tengapani - Parashuram Kund- Dibrugarh (271 km / approx. 6 hours 20 Min )
After Breakfast, you would be driven to Parasuram Kund via the beautiful orange producing town of Wakro (In season time you can stop over to enjoy the small town full of Orange Cultivation). It will take about 1 hrs 30 min and is 64 Km away. At Parasurm Kund you could go down to kund and absorb the sheer power and beauty of the crystal clear flowing waters. The whole day you can enjoy the lofty mountains and spent quality time on the river bank. This place is also a photographers delight. After Tea, you proceed back to Dibrugarh and check-in at Homestay by Tea Garden. After check-in, you visit the longest Rail cum Road bridge and return for Overnight stay in Dibrugarh.
Day 3 : Dibrugarh to Sibsagar (80 Km / Approx 02Hrs.10 Min)
After breakfast, we will go for an excursion to Sivasagar.The capital of Ahom dynasty, Sivasagar is situated 60 km away from the Jorhat. Here we will visit the remains of the Ahom Kingdom. The Ahom dynasty ruled Assam for 600 years before the British took over. We will visit the Tai Ahom Museum and the Maidams (Mummy like structures) of Ahom kings Burial grounds at Charaideo. The other remains of the Ahom Dynasty include man-made artificial lake created by Queen Madambika in 1734, Shivdol-the tallest Shiv temple in the world, palaces of Karen Ghar & Talatal Ghar and Gaurisagar Tank, along with three temples.Overnight stay in Sibsagar.
Day 4 : Sibsagar to Hoollongapur Gibbon Wildlife Sanctuary (55 km / approx. 1 hours 21 min )
After breakfast, we proceed to Hoollongapur Gibbon Wildlife Sanctuary. Originally established in 1881 when the land was put aside for preservation. The area is rich in biodiversity and is home to the Western Hoolock Gibbon, India's only gibbon. The area is also home to other members of the primate family such as the Stump Tailed Macaque, Rhesus Macaque, Northern Pig-tailed Macaque, Eastern Assamese Macaque and Capped Langur. The park is also home to Indian elephants, tigers, leopards, boar and 219 species of bird. Overnight stay at Gibbon Resort,{The Hoollongapar Gibbon Sanctuary, formerly known as the Gibbon Wildlife Sanctuary or Hollongapar Reserve Forest, is an isolated protected area of evergreen forest located in Assam, India. The sanctuary was officially constituted and renamed in 1997. Set aside initially in 1881, its forests used to extend to the foothills of the Patkai mountain range. Since then, the forest has been fragmented and surrounded by tea gardens and small villages. In the early 1900s, artificial regeneration was used to develop well-stocked forest, resulting in the site's rich biodiversity. The Hoollongapar Gibbon Sanctuary contains India's only gibbons the hoolock gibbons, and Northeastern India's only nocturnal primate the Bengal slow loris. The upper canopy of the forest is dominated by the Hollong tree (Dipterocarpus macrocarpus), while the Nahar (Mesua ferrea) dominates the middle canopy. The lower canopy consists of evergreen shrubs and herbs. The habitat is threatened by illegal logging, the encroachment of human settlements, and habitat fragmentation.}
Day 5 : Sibsagar to Majuli (73 km / 2. 25 min)
Today take an excursion to Majuli Island, India's largest river island and considered the largest in the world although others claim that mantle is held by Bananal Island in Brazil. Shortlisted by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site the Majuli island is only accessible by ferry(Charge Not included), due to this inaccessibility the culture and uniqueness of the people have been preserved and offer visitors a fantastic chance to experience old customs still intact. On the island, we will visit the Vaishnovite monasteries, locally known as Satras and dating back to the 16th Century. We will also visit the agrarian Mishing tribal villages situated on the river banks before enjoying a local vegetarian lunch. Overnight stay in Majuli.
Day 6 : Majuli to Tezpur ( 192kms / approx 4.30 Hrs)
After early breakfast you are transferred to Tezpur, check into a hotel. Unwind yourself and then we will go for a local sightseeing tour of Tezpur. Also known, as The City of Blood, Tezpur is a place steeped in mythology, legend and folklore. Situated on the north bank of Brahmaputra, this is a town of magnificent scenic beauty and exquisite archaeological ruins. Evening you can enjoy a boat ride in the mighty Brahmaputra and watch river dolphins(Cost not included)Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 7 : Tezpur to Guwahati (185 km / 3 hors 49 min)
After breakfast, we will leave for Guwahati. Upon arrival, check into a hotel. As time permits we may take a tour of the Kamakhya Temple and other Temples in Guwahati namely Purva Tirupati Shri Balaji Temple, Sukreswar Temple, Navagraha Temple, Umananda Temple at the Peacock Island which is the smallest inhabited River Island in the World, Assam State Museum, Dighali Pukhuri (Lake), State Zoo cum Botanical Garden, Planetarium and the Assam State Emporiums. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 8 : Departure
After breakfast, our representative will provide you a swift transfer to Guwahati airport or railway station to connect with your onward destination.
