Package Overview

Few places in India are at once so traveler-friendly and yet so enchanting and hassle-free as mountain-framed Leh. Dotted with stupas and crumbling mud-brick houses, the Old Town is dominated by a dagger of steep rocky ridge topped by an imposing Tibetan-style palace and fort. Topographically, the whole of the district is mountainous with three parallel ranges of the Himalayas, the Zanskar, the Ladakh and the Karakoram. Between these ranges, the Shayok, Indus and Zanskar rivers flow and most of the population lives in valleys of these rivers.
Leh’s a place that’s all too easy to fall in love with, but take things easy on arrival. The altitude means that most visitors initially suffer mild headaches and breathlessness. To prevent this becoming full-blown Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS), drink plenty of ginger tea and avoid strenuous exertion at first. Climbing Palace Ridge or Shanti Stupa on your first two days in Leh is unwise unless you’re already altitude-acclimatised. Similarly it’s wise to wait before trekking or taking jeep excursions over high passes (to Nubra or Pangong).

Best Time To Visit :- April to June is one of the best times of the year to visit Leh. September to October is also a great time to go trekking. Starting September a kind of chill sets in Leh but the sun keeps shining.Personal expenses are not included in the package.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Pick Up From Leh Airport Drive To Hotel And Check-in

  On arrival at Leh airport, our representative will receive you and drive you to the hotel where you will check in and over a cup of tea. We highly recommend complete rest for acclimatization. In the evening briefing for the entire tour will be done at the hotel before dinner. Overnight at hotel in Leh.

• Day 2 : Local Sightseeing And Excursion At Leh

  After breakfast the car will be waiting for you for the day’s drive to the monastery and museum tour by the Indus valley Leh. We will start from Thicksey monastery and then will visit Himis monastery and museum. After lunch the group will visit the War memorial museum, Gurudwara Patthar sahib, Indus confluence. Return back to the hotel in the evening for overnight at hotel in Leh and have your dinner at the hotel.

• Day 3 : Drive To Nubra Valley And Local Excursion

  After having breakfast the our chauffeur will take you to NUBRA VALLEY crossing KHARDUNG LA top (Highest Motorable road in the world at 18300 feet above the sea level).On reaching NUBRA VALLEY you will check in resort in Sumur village. we will take you to visit Panamic hot springs and spend the rest of the evening enjoying the apple and apricot orchards at the resort. Overnight stay at resort in Nubra and have your dinner at the resort.

• Day 4 : Hotel Check-out From Nubra Valley And Drive To Leh

  After having breakfast we will start on our way back to Leh. On the visiting Diskit monastery and 100 feet tall future Buddha statue and sand dunes at Hundar village. You can enjoy camel rides (At your own cost). Overnight at hotel in Leh and have your dinner at the hotel.

• Day 5 : Hotel Check-out From Leh And Drive To Pangong Lake And Camp/Hotel Check-in

  After having breakfast we will start off our onwards journey towards Pangong Lake (The highest salt water lake in the world). On the way to Pangong we will cross CHANGLA pass. On reaching Pangong you will check in camp at Spangmic village. You can rest for a while and spend the rest of the evening enjoying the beauty of the lake. Overnight at camp by the lake at Pangong and have your dinner at the camp.

• Day 6 : Check-out From Pangong Lake Drive To Leh And Hotel Check-in

  After breakfast the guests will be driven by the lake on their way back to Leh. On reaching Leh, you can spend the rest of the evening in the market collecting gifts for friends and families back home. Overnight stay at hotel in Leh, have your dinner at the hotel.
