Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Athens, Greece

  Welcome to Athens! At 6 pm, meet your traveling companions for a welcome drink with your Tour Director.
• Day 2 : Athens.

  Sightseeing with a Local Guide features a visit to the Parthenon’s crowning beauty atop the ACROPOLIS, the Erechtheum with its Porch of Maidens, the beautifully preserved Theseum, Roman temple dedicated to Zeus, theater of Dionysus, and the Agora where Socrates taught. Vistas of the government buildings and elegant homes in the modern city provide a striking contrast to the remains of the glorious past. Tonight, why not try out local fare and entertainment reminiscent of Zorba the Greek?

• Day 3 : Athens–Marina Zea (Embarkation)–Kea.

  Embark your cruise ship between 2 pm to 3 pm in Marina Zea and depart via Cape Sounion to Kea. Welcome cocktail and dinner. Later, time at leisure to explore Kea’s tiny port, Korrisiaw. Depart in the early hours for Delos, with an overnight at sea.

• Day 4 : Cruising: Delos–Mykonos.

  Enjoy an optional morning tour of the unique archaeological site of Delos, antiquity’s most sacred island. Then, on to Mykonos, with a swim stop on the way. The rest of the day is free to enjoy the island’s cosmopolitan lifestyle. Overnight in Mykonos.

• Day 5 : Cruising: Santorini.

  Arrive in Santorini around Noon and experience the stunning natural drama of the volcanic caldera. Consider an optional tour to the archaeological sites and typical villages with their stunning views over the Aegean Sea. Sail overnight to Crete.

• Day 6 : Cruising: Rethymnon, Crete.

  Arrive this morning at Crete’s lively port of Rethymnon. Perhaps join an optional tour to the ancient city of Knossos near Heraklion. Depart late for Kythira and overnight at sea.

• Day 7 : Cruising: Kythira

  A late-morning swim stop, then afternoon arrival on Kythira, a lesser-known gem that’s quickly becoming a favorite among visitors. The evening is free to visit pretty Chora and bask in the charms of this peaceful island. Overnight in Kythira.

• Day 8 : Cruising: Monemvassia–Nauplia

  In Monemvassia, explore the medieval town’s Byzantine and Venetian architecture. Enjoy a swim stop before arriving this evening at Nauplia for an overnight. Its charming Old Town and impressive medieval fortifications are worth checking out. Overnight in Nauplia.

• Day 9 : Cruising: Nauplia–Hydra or Spetses.

  This morning, join the optional excursion to Mycenae. Early afternoon departure for Hydra or Spetses, with free time to explore on your own. Overnight in port.

• Day 10 : Cruising: Marina Zea (Disembarkation)–Athens.

  Depart in the early hours for your return to Marina Zea. Disembark after breakfast. The remainder of the day is free to catch up on last-minute shopping. Enjoy an optional dinner in a romantic restaurant.
