Day 1 : Auckland
Welcome to New Zealand! Tonight, the adventure begins, take the day to explore - and then meet up with your group late afternoon. After introductions, your Chief Experience Officer (CEO) will give an over view of your trip.
Day 2 : Auckland - Hahei Cycling 8KM (4.9 MI) Walk 2-4KM (1.4 MI-2.6 MI)
Enjoy a morning cycle through Karangahake Gorge, then travel onto Hahei for the afternoon.
Its an early start for Waihi, to pick up bikes and ride through Karangahake Gorge. Continue onto Hahei for a walk to Cathedral Cove in the afternoon. If the tide is right, grab a shovel and dig out your own hot pool at Hot Water Beach.

Day 3 : Hahei - Rotorua
Enjoy the Volcanic Wonderland and experience boiling mud, steaming geysers and geothermal activity. Your evening begins with a traditional greeting on the Marae, learn the arts of the Haka and Poi before a traditional Hangi dinner.
Free Time The geothermal wonders of Rotorua are not the only attractions, opt to mountain bike in the world famous Redwood Forest, go white water rafting, or indulge in the therapeutic hot springs.

Day 4 : Rotorua - Tongariro National Park 19-20 KM (11.1 - 12.8 MI)
Fancy a walk on the moon? The Tongariro Alpine Crossing, New Zealand's top-rated 1-day trek, climb an active volcano. After the trek, travel to a ski lodge on the side of a mountain for the night. An on-site spa and sauna will help ease tired muscles.
Tongariro Alpine Crossing 19-20 km (12 mi)
Enjoy spectacular views and otherworldly landscapes on this challenging and rewarding trek across a volcanic range. Be prepared - this is alpine hiking - and not to be taken lightly. Note: if the weather is too bad to trek, there will be alternative options such as smaller walks in the area or a visit to remote hot springs. If you do not wish to do the Tongariro Crossing, other activities can be arranged.
Day 5 : Tongariro National Park - Whanganui National Park Canoeing 12-25km (7.8-15.9 mi)
Canoe along the Whanganui River to your overnight camp in the heart of Whanganui National Park. Enjoy a dinner brought in from the wild. The third longest river in New Zealand, the Whanganui River begins at Mt Tongariro and flows all the way out to the west coast of the North Island. After a safety briefing, embark on a 31km (19 mi) canoe journey down river to an overnight campsite in the heart of Whanganui National Park.
Day 6 : Whanganui National Park - Raetihi
Continue along the Whanganui River by jet boat visiting old Maori and European settlements before continuing on to Snowy Waters Lodge by bus.
In the morning, trade the canoe for a jet boat and continue down river. After a short walk to the Bridge to Nowhere, board the jet boat again and return to the bus, traveling on to Snowy Waters Lodge for the night. Enjoy a delicious dinner.
Day 7 : Raetihi - Wellington
Continue on to Wellington and visit the Te Papa museum, dedicated to the history and culture of New Zealand.
Free Time
Take the chance this evening to eat out in the city with its vibrant cafe culture.
Day 8 : Wellington - Abel Tasman National Park
Travel by ferry to the South Island, travel to Marahau at the start of the Park and then transfer by water taxi into Abel Tasman National Park.
Day 9 : Abel Tasman National Park - Marahau
Sea Kayaking back to Marahau. Take part in a safety briefing and preparation, then head out into the water to glide in and out of the bays and islets on the route to Marahau. Look for nesting seabirds and tiny islands, and enjoy amazing views along the way.
Day 10 : Marahau - Paparoa National Park
Transfer to Paparoa National Park, and enjoy a trek in the park 1-7 km (up to 4.3 mi). Take in spectacular coastal views hiking in Paparoa National Park. See the famous Pancake Rocks, a limestone landscape of pancake-shaped rock formations and blowholes.

Kayaking - Grab your life jacket and tour local waters by kayak. Get up close to marine life and see many sights you may miss on shore.
Day 11 : Paparoa National Park - Franz Josef 10 km (6.4 mi)
Continue south along the coast towards Franz Josef, stopping for a walk at Okarito Lagoon, a haven for wildlife, that includes a variety of landscapes on the path through the estuary out through the wetlands. Spend 2 nights staying amongst verdant temperate rainforest.
Day 12 : Franz Josef
A free day for optional activities. Options include various hikes, horseback riding, quad biking as well as the unique and stunning Franz Josef Glacier.

Day 13 : Franz Josef - Makaroroa
Travel through Te Wahi Pounamu World Heritage Area to Makarora, where you can spend the afternoon exploring the area by foot, or opt for a jet boat excursion or scenic flight. See for yourself the views that make New Zealand famous - jagged mountains, snowy peaks, and clear blue waters. Wander among fjords, rocky coasts, towering cliffs, lakes, and waterfalls, and enjoy breathtaking scenery. Don't forget your camera!

Day 14 : Makarora - Queenstown
Travel into the heart of Central Otago, stopping at the resort town of Wanaka, before heading to the ultimate adventure playground that is Queenstown. The options in this adventure capital are endless. Two nights are at a centrally-located hostel, which means you can make the most of your time here.

Day 16 : Queenstown - Milford Sound
Continue to the fjords of the South Island. Enjoy the stunning scenery of Fiordland National Park and Milford Sound from the deck of a boat.

Moody an dramatic with cascading waterfalls, mountains stretching up to the sky and down to the sea - have your camera charged and ready as the search for dolphins and seals begins.
Day 17 : Milford Sound - Te Anau
Continue onto Te Anau with a free day to explore the area surrounding Lake Te Anau, including the start of the Kepler Track.
Optional activities including hiking, biking, exploring the Te Anau glowworm caves or taking in a screening of the award-winning ‘Ata Whenua’ – ‘Fjordland Film’ documentary at the local cinema.

Day 18 : Te Anau Cycling 42 KM (26 MI)
Morning departure to Central Otago to spend the afternoon cycling the Central Otago Rail Trail 42 km (26 mi) along the Historic Otago Rail Trail. Pass through scenery unspoiled by traffic and not visible from any roads.
Day 19 : Te Anau - Christchurch
Drive through breathtaking central Otago via the Lindis Pass and Mt Cook, New Zealand’s highest peak. Arrive in Christchurch for the evening.
Day 20 : Christchurch - Kaikoura
Up for an early start to drive the scenic coastal SH1 highway north to Kaikoura. Known as the Serengeti of the Sea, Kaikoura’s unique submarine environment supports a phenomenal array of marine life. And it’s not just marine mammals that can be experienced up-close here – Kaikoura is one of the world’s most exciting arenas from which to view ocean birds (pelagic). Hikers can opt to go on several day hikes in the Seaward Kaikoura mountains.

Day 21 : Kaikoura - Wellington
Transfer to Picton and visit a seal colony along the way before taking the ferry back to Wellington where the tour ends upon arrival. Onward travel can be booked after 8pm.Ferry Picton – Wellington 3h 30m Sail across the Cook Strait to Wellington.
