Bandhavgarh National Park is One of the Popular National Parks in India Located in the Umaria District of Madhya Pradesh. Bandhavgarh is a Legendry Place and is Having Mythological Importance. Bandhav + Garh, ‘bandhav’ in English Means the Brother and Garh Means the Fort, So the Name of Bandhavgarh Means the Brother Fort. The Name of the Reserve Was Due to the Presence of Ancient Fort On the Mountain. It Was Believed that Lord Rama Has Gifted the Fort to His Younger Brother Lord Lakshmana. This Park Has a Large Biodiversity. The Density of the Tiger Population At Bandhavgarh is One of the Highest Known in India. The Park Has a Large Breeding Population of Leopards, and Various Species of Deer. Maharaja Sachin Singh Baghel of Rewa Captured a White Tiger in this Region in 1951. This White Tiger, Mohan, is Now Stuffed and On Display in the Palace of the Maharajas of Rewa.

Dull and Camouflaging Colours like Green, Brown Etc. Must Be Worn During the Bandhavgad Jungle Safari. Please Avoid Bright Colours.
Familiarize Yourself to New Shoes Before Bringing Them to the Camp. Shoes Must Be Large Enough So that You Can Wriggle Your Toes with Socks On.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Pune – Mumbai – Jabalpur

  All Participants have to Report At the Pune Railway Station On Platform No. 1 At Main Entrance By 7.30 Am. Depart from Pune to Mumbai By Pragati Express (train No 12126 – 2s) At 7.50 Am. Reach Cst, Mumbai By 11.15 Am. (mumbai Participants Can Join At Cst Station At Their Own Arrangements.) Move to Jabalpur By Jabalpur Garibrath Express (train No 12188) 01.30 Pm.
  
  Overnight Train Journey

• Day 2 : Jabalpur – Bandhavgad (200 kms, 5 hours)

  Reach Jabalpur By 6.00 Am. Refresh in a Train. After Breakfast We Will Proceed for Bhedaghat, It is Situated By the Side of River Narmada and is 20 Kms from Jabalpur City. It is Famous for the Huge Dhuadhar Falls and Boating in Narmada River Which Flows Through Marble Rocks. Move to Bandhavgad By A.c. Innova. En-route We Will Take a Lunch. Reach Bandhavgad Around 03.00 Pm. Welcome Drink (non Alcoholic) On Arrival. After Room Allotment Take a Rest. In Evening Short Nature Trail in Buffer Area. Campfire Around 7.30 Pm. Dinner By 8.30 Pm.
