Bandhavgarh National Park is one of the popular national parks in India located in the Umaria district of Madhya Pradesh.

Scientific national parks. Bandhavgarh Tiger Rserve was the hunting preserve of the Kings of Rewa before independence. It was declared as National in the year 1968 and subsequently as
Tiger reserve in the year of 1993. The ecosystem here comprises of pure Sal belts interspersed with mixed forest zones marshy grasslands and river systems. The park is named after the highest hill called Bandavgarh on which lie the ruins of an ancient fort. Bandavgarh boasting of highest tiger density and more than 250 species of birds and other species the gaur or Indian bison, sambar and barking deer are a coomon sight and nilgai are to be seen in the open areas of the park.
The nearest airports are Khajuraho and Jabalpur, which are airlinked with the major cities of India. The most convenient air route to Khajuraho from where it takes about six hours drive

Forest 7hrs and from Khajuraho 6 hrs.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Delhi/Umaria

  In the afternoon transfer to the station to board the train for Umaria. Overnight on board.
  
• Day 2 : Arrive Umaria / Bandhavgarh

  On arrival at Umaria meet with our representative and transfer to the resort. In the afternoon game drive to the national park. Overnight at resort.
  
• Day 3 : Bandhavgarh

  Morning and evening jeep/elephant safari to the national park. Overnight at resort.
  
• Day 4 : Bandhavgarh/Delhi

  Morning safari to the national park. In the afternoon transfer to the station time to board train for Delhi. Overnight on board.
  
• Day 5 : Arrive Delhi

  Arrive Delhi in the morning.
