Day 1 : Delhi / Khajuraho
In the afternoon you will experience the delight of the Madhya Pradesh Khajuraho tour with temples which includes Kandaryia Mahadeo Chaunsat Yogini, Chitragupta temple, Vishwanath Temple and Matengeswara Temple. Khajuraho is famous throughout the world for its exquisitely carved temples in stones. An overnight train journey from Delhi will take the visitors to Jhansi, afterwards another morning train awaits the guests to take them to Harpalpur (85 km) to the east. In the evening guests will return to the hotel. Guests will retire for the night.
Day 2 : Khajuraho / Bandhavgarh
Next morning after breakfast, guests will be driven to Bandhavgarh National Park which belongs to the Vindhyan mountain ranges of central India for commencement of the Bandhavgarh tour. On arrival you will be checked in to the wildlife resort. Guests are free thereafter for leisure rest of the day.
Day 3 : At Bandhavgarh
This day of the Madhya Pradesh heritage itinerary starts with jungle exploration on elephant back and Jeep in Bandhavgarh national park which boasts of the highest concentration of tiger population in the country. Arrangements will be made for Bird watching and a walk to the fort. No one knows when the fort was constructed but scripts have mentioned that the fort is believed to be almost 2000 years old. At night, guests will be on their own.
Day 4 : At Bandhavgarh National Park
Morning and evening arrangements are made for Jungle exploration on Jeep. The park has a big breeding population of panthers, bisons and numerous species of deer. Wandering through the Bandhavgarh national park on an elephant back, the prospect of seeing a tiger are quite good, this is also known as white tiger country. Guests can explore the dynamic wildlife, the rich forests and varied flora & fauna in the park. Overnight, the guests will be at the resort, free to carry out their own activities.
Day 5 : Bandhavgarh / Kanha
The following morning after breakfast at the resorts, guests will be driven to Kanha National Park. On arrival, you will be checked in at the wildlife resort, previously booked by our tour operator in Khajuraho. Guests thereafter have the time for leisure.
Day 6 : At Kanha National Park
Morning and evening, jungle exploration on Jeep will be arranged by our agent. Numerous species of wildlife exists in Kanha National Park, which forms the core of the Kanha Tiger Reserve created in 1974 under Project Tiger. This is classic Kipling country, of which he wrote so intensely in his Jungle Book.
Day 7 : At Kanha
Guests will experience an exhilarating jungle exploration on Jeep in the morning after breakfast. Some of the larger animal species found in the park are sloth bear, leopard, striped hyena, wild boar, jackal to name a few. Guests will be taken back to the hotel at night. This will also mark an end to the thoroughly prepared wildlife travel guide by our agent.
Day 8 : Kanha National Park - Nagpur - Delhi
The next morning after breakfast at the resort, guest will be driven to Nagpur airport to board flight for Delhi.
