Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival

  Reach Base camp in the morning. Refresh. Hike is through cotton plantations to the highest tea estate in the world, the whole trek will be uphill for initial 02 hours and ascending from the height of 600 m to 2160 m the trek will be about 10 kilometres. Continuing trek through grasslands, dense shoal forest etc. Visit the one of the oldest tea factory at Kolukkumala built in 1935 with the orthodox process, offers one of the best organic tea, continue trek to campsite. Stay in Tents.

• Day 2 : Monsoon Trek to Kumara Parvata

  Saturday: 0500hrs Start from Bhattra Manne 0730hrs Reach Kallu Mantap 0900hrs Leave Kallu Mantap after some refreshments .. photo sessions 1300hrs Reach Sesha Parvatham 1330hrs Target the peak of Kumara Parvatham 1630hrs Reach peak 2030hrs Reach Kallu Mantap and camp. Based on the climatic condition, We may also try Somvarpet route to descend.

• Day 3 : Exploring

  Walk though the Rhodo valley descending the slopes.Rhododendrons are in bloom and are found around 6000 ft with pine forest as well and of course a unique eco system of grassland passing streams, beautiful natural brooks , meadows of western ghats. Finally reaching Silent Valley proceeding 4 km to Munnar. Overnight Journey to Bangalore.12 hrs.

• Day 4 : Matheran in Monsoon

  Return home with sweet memories
