Mysore, Karnataka's second-largest city, was the capital of the kingdom of Mysore from 1399 to 1947. Ooty is a mountain lover's paradise and a lovely spot to unwind and relax. Kodaikanal, which means 'gift of the forests,' will mesmerise you with its mist-covered sculpted cliffs and waterfalls.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Bangalore to Mysore | Visit Mysore Palace, St. Philomena’s Church

  Begin your journey to Mysore by being picked up from your Bangalore hotel or flat. Bangalore is approximately a three-hour journey from Mysore.
  The first stop on our Mysore Ooty Kodaikanal tour is the Mysore Palace. The palace was built in 1912 and served as the principal residence of the Wadiyar dynasty.
  The Railway Museum will be our next stop. It was built by the Indian Railways in 1979, and it depicts the Indian railways' voyage and evolution through a collection of photos and other things.
  Brindavan Gardens will be our next stop. Brindavan Gardens is a 60-acre three-tiered garden with a diverse range of activities.
  St. Philomena's Church, dedicated to Saint Philomena, is one of India's largest churches.
  
  This location's architectural beauty and religious significance are well-known.
  We'll then travel to the Chamundi Hills. Halfway up the hill, a 16-foot monolithic figure of Nandi and a fearsome and garishly coloured monument of Mahishasura stand. The splendour of Mysore may be seen from the tops of the hills.

• Day 2 : Mysore to Ooty | Visit Botanical Gardens, Dodabetta Peak,& Ooty Lake

  Travel from Mysore to Ooty after breakfast. It takes roughly 3 to 3.5 hours to get from Mysore to Ooty.
  Our first stop will be at the Botanical Gardens in Ooty. The upper portion, the garden, and the lower portion were divided into three pieces, each of which covered 22 hectares: the upper portion, the garden, and the lower portion. You must see all of the sections since they are all filled with breathtaking beauty.
  We'll then proceed to Doddabetta Peak. At an elevation of 8650 feet (2,623 metres) above sea level, the summit is a popular trekking destination. The views are unrivalled and breathtaking from this vantage point.
  Ooty Lake would be our final destination for the day. The water for the lake comes from a creek that goes through the hills and is bordered by enormous Eucalyptus trees.

• Day 3 : Visit Ketti Valley Viewpoint, Wenlock Downs, Lamb’s Rock

  After breakfast, we'll depart for the Ketti Valley Viewpoint. The Ketti Valley, dubbed "South India's Switzerland," is recognised for its gushing waterfalls, abundant animals, and scenic splendour.
  We'll then proceed to Wenlock Downs as part of the Mysore Ooty Kodaikanal trip package. Wenlock Downs is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life and relax in the beautiful greenery.
  Pykara Falls, which is surrounded by lush forest and offers breathtaking vistas, is our next visit. Here you can take a boat ride on your own dime.
  The final endpoint of the day is Lamb's Rock. Lamb's Rock is home to monkeys and offers a breathtaking view of the sky.

• Day 4 : - Ooty to Kodaikanal | Day at Leisure

  Take joy in your morning meal.
  We'd be travelling from Ooty to Kodaikanal. The journey to the destination takes slightly over 7 hours.
  On this day, you get free time to explore the city on your own.
  Make the most of your leisure time by going shopping and visiting markets.

• Day 5 : Visit Kodai Lake, Coaker’s Walk, Guna Caves

  We'll go to Kodai Lake after breakfast. It's a man-made lake that was developed by the British and early missionaries.
  After exploring the lake, we'll go to Coaker's Walk. A one-kilometer-long man-made path runs between the mountains, providing guests with a wonderful nature walk.
  Bryant Park is accessible via the Coakers Walk. Plants from all over the world are housed in a greenhouse located here.
  Then we'll head to Suicide Point in Green Valley View. The lush green hills, valleys, and plains can all be seen from here.
  David Gell's majestic love homage, Pillar Rocks, rises to a height of 400 feet. Devil's Kitchen is the chamber between these two massive rocks.
  
  Following that, the Guna Caves, also known as Devil's Kitchen, will be investigated. The caverns are located in a deep, narrow valley with hazardous rocks leading down to them.

• Day 6 : Visit Berijam Lake View & Silver Cascade Falls | Back to Bangalore

  We will visit the Berijam Lake after breakfast on the last day of our vacation. The lake is known for its tranquil beauty and provides a relaxing atmosphere for visitors.
  A visit to Silver Cascade Falls brings the journey to a close. Admire the jagged rock formations and the stunning seas, which are bathed in the sun's rays.
  Travel to Bangalore and bring back a lot of memories.
