Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : BALI - BANYUWANGI

  After breakfast at your hotel, our guide will pick you up and, depending on your location, drive you to the port in Gilimanuk for up to 4 hours.
  
  The ferry will take you to Banyuwangi in the wild east of Java with beautiful beaches in about an hour.
  
  Arriving at the hotel, the rest of the day is at your free disposal.

• Day 2 : IJEN KRATER LAKE ( BLUE FIRE TOUR) - MERU BETIRI - SUKAMADE

  At 04:00 o'clock is getting up to start at 05:30 clock direction Paltuding. Once there, the approximately 2-hour climb begins on foot to the crater of the Ijen Plateau.
  
  Recommendation! Leave at 01:00 to experience the natural wonders of the Blue Fire. After the climb, it goes down about 700 meters steeply into the crater of Mt. Ijen. Once there, you will experience something unique in the world, in total darkness of the night, witnessing the blue fire of the lava flows (to be experienced only in Iceland in a smaller version).
  
  The strenuous climb is rewarded. Arriving at the summit you will experience a fantastic, magical view over the greenish blue lake of the Ijen Crater at sunrise, the most poisonous lake in the world. On the way, they will meet the numerous workers, who will break down the sulfur and transport it into the valley in their baskets of up to 100 kilograms. Once in the valley, do not miss to stop by the weighing station to experience how hard the brave miners must toil.
  
  Continue to Pesanggeran for a cup of fresh coffee, fruits and local snacks in a typical Javanese waroeng at the entrance to the National Park. After a five hour drive, along a breathtaking wild nature, you will finally reach Pessanggaran and enjoy a typical local lunch. Continue with a 4x4 vehicle towards Meru Betiri National Park, taking a short break at any time at the most beautiful viewing points. Around 19:00, the Park Ranger awaits you at Sukamade Turtle Beach, a 3-kilometer-long sandy beach on the Indian Ocean, where 5 different turtle species come ashore all year to lay their eggs. Each individual turtle puts over a hundred eggs in her enclosure. According to experience, most turtles come to egg laying around 19:30 clock and return to the sea around 24:00 clock. After this unique day full of adventurous adventures you will be tired but content to spend the night in the Ranger house or in a house within the local village community. There are no hotels in the vicinity.

• Day 3 : SUKAMADE - KALIBARU

  In the morning, the park ranger takes them to the beach again to join with them some of the baby turtles from the local breeding station of their hand in the open sea to freedom, an unforgettable experience. Afterwards we have breakfast for a long time before going to Kalibaru in about 3 hours. Kalibaru is famous for its exotic cocoa, coffee, and rubber tree plantations. There they also get to know all processes of cocoa, coffee, and / or gum processing (depending on the season). In the afternoon you drive to your hotel where you can enjoy your free time.
  
  Tip: If you do not just want to relax by the pool and enjoy the fantastic landscape views, take a walk through the endless plantations and get to know the daily routine of the local village population.

• Day 4 : KALIBARU - KETAPANG - GILIMANUK - PEMUTERAN

  After breakfast, they will drive to the port of Ketapang in about 3 hours. On the way, the driver likes to stop for them on the beautiful beaches of Green Bay and Rajegwesi. An intermediate lunch can be taken on the way in a local restaurant (own expenses). From the port, it will take you 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the waves, back to Bali in the natural and wild east of the island. You will spend the night in Pemuteran, famous for its fantastic snorkeling areas.

• Day 5 : PEMUTERAN - WEST BALI NATIONAL PARK

  After breakfast, drive to Bali Barat National Park. Accompanied by a very experienced guide and / or park ranger, they explore the endemic wilderness and look out for the rare Bali Starling (Bali Star) and Wild Banteng, from which the wild buffalo used in agriculture today descend. Not only to protect these two species, the Dutch made this 19,000 hectare area under protection. The park is the purest birdwatcher's paradise, with 160 different bird species.
  
  The national park consists of both mountainous regions, as well as mangrove forests, lowland rainforests, savannas, seagrass landscapes, coral reefs, sandy beaches, and shallow and deepwater waters, and therefore offers a tremendous diversity of endemic flora and fauna. The park is surrounded by six villages, which are characterized by the mixture of various ethnic cultures (Balinese, Javanese, Madurer, and Bugis). The inhabitants of these villages are actively involved in the protection of the national park. In the late afternoon we will go back to your hotel.

• Day 6 : PEMUTERAN - MENJANGAN ISLAND SNORKEL TOUR

  After breakfast, head to Hirsch Island, Menjangan Island, in the marine nature reserve of Bali Barat National Park. Experience a spectacular underwater world. The island is surrounded by kilometer-long coral reefs, in which an incredible variety of tropical fish and corals in all rainbow colors can be explored. The special nature protection makes possible above all the regular visits of endangered beautiful loggerhead turtles. Many marine, even deep-sea birds appreciate the rich food supply. Another highlight is provided by the name givers of the island. Visitors are regularly witnessed as the deer on the beach enjoy themselves and treat themselves to an extensive cooling bath in the shallow waves in the sea. A unique sight on the beach of a tropical island. In the late afternoon they will be brought back to their hotel.

• Day 7 : PEMUTERAN - HOTEL IN THE SOUTH BALI / DENPASAR

  After breakfast, enjoy the time to check out at the hotel or on the beach until you either drive to the airport in Denpasar or your beach hotel in the south of Bali.
