Hanoi Bike Tour One Day is one of our easy and fun bicycle tours we arrange around Hanoi. The day trip takes you out of Hanoi busy streets to Bat Trang pottery village where you will experience another side of the Vietnam’s capital, Hanoi - the rural Hanoi. The day trip starts with a car transfer from your hotel in Hanoi to our bike garage, our departure point where you will have some test ride before starting your day cycling adventure. You cycle through corn field, and vegetable, fruit gardens amidst the wild nature and peaceful countryside villages. There is about 33 km for you to pedal, on the quiet back roads. Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Bat Trang Village Cycling One Day Tour

  8:00 AM: You will be met up with our guide at your hotel in Hanoi. He will help you to take a taxi to get to our bike garage. The car transfer takes about 20 - 30 minutes before you arrive in our bike garage - the departure point.
  
  Arriving in the bicycle garage, the bike is ready for you. Our biking guide will give you a short briefing about the bikes such as how to use a mountain bike (21/24 speed gear); how to cross the street with a bike. He also shares some other tips, useful information about the biking trail. It is possible for you to have some test ride to check the bike before starting your day adventure.
  
  You start riding along the Red River dyke for some kilometers before reaching a small biking trail that furrows among pop corn, vegetable and fruit gardens. You mostly cycle on the back roads amidst the wild nature and peaceful countryside villages.
  
  After about two hour cycling, you arrive in Bat Trang village, a small village in the north of Vietnam, is about 13 kilometers southeast of Hanoi center, on the other side of the Red River. The village is famous for ceramic and pottery products of high quality.
  
  Lunch will be provided in a local restaurant in town.
  
  After lunch, you will have a short walk to visit the village, discovering the village ceramic market, the Bat Trang temple, Bat Trang communal house. Discover the real life as you walk through tiny alleys that furrow continuously right and left.
  
  Before taking the ride back, you stop by a local workshop where you have the chance to learn all the steps of making a pottery. You can even try to make your own pottery before saying good bye your teacher and cycle back to Hanoi.
  
  You follow another road and enjoy two more hours cycling back to Hanoi.
  
  The end of the tour is scheduled at around 15.30 - 16.00, at your hotel in Hanoi.
