Package Overview

We have this beautiful place – Bavikonda in the heart of Kudremukh National Park with lush green meadows, numerous waterfall, dense jungle and more. Bavikonda-Kulchukki is one of the non-commercial destinations for trekking from Bangalore. The Trek starts over the foothills of the Mullodi village in the state of Karnataka.
The beautiful part of Bavikonda-Kulchukki is trekking on the open face of the mountains while enjoying the view of the nearby peaks. Also, a beautiful ridge walk towards the peak makes it more than just a trekking experience.

Not just the beautiful and challenging trail there is lot more this trek has to offer. Early morning we reach to this small and beautiful place – Balegal(Balegallu) and enjoy the early morning Jeep ride to homestay. The Homestay is on the base of Kudremukh Peak surrounded by numerous waterfall. Homestay will be a basic accommodation with toilet facility. The best part of staying in homestay is experience of local culture and food.

Kudremukh can be consider Himalayas of Western Ghats. Will spend some quality time in Somavati Waterfall which is just next to the homestay. On the way back will visit historic Belur Temple.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : 6:00 am – 7:30 am

  The Nearest Town to Homestay is Kalasa, We Will Be Passing Through Hassan Road to Belur to Kasala Town and from There to Balgal. Balgal is a Small Place At the Base of Mullodi Hills. from Balgal We Would Be Taking a Jeep Ride to Homestay in Mullodi Hills Which is About 6 Km from Balgal (base).
  
  the Base Camp At Homestay Give a Panaromic View of Various Peaks of the Range. the Cold Breeze of the Mullodi Hills Ignites a Joyful Experience and Prepares You for a Wonderful Trek.

  after Fresh-up and Breakfast We Would Embark On Our Journey to Bavikonda Peak. On Course We Would Pass Through Numerous Water Streams and Jungles to Reach the Kulchukki Point.
  
  although There are Several Water Streams in Between the Trails. We Would Request You to Carry An Extra Empty Bottle Which You Can Fill Up to Keep Yourself Hydrated Through the Trek.
  
  listening to Water Flowing, Birds Flittering and Cold Breeze Makes You Closer to Nature and Motivates You to Walk all Through the Mountains and to the Peak.
  
  a Steep Inclination On the Zig-zag Trail Connects You to the Last Trail that Guides You to the Peak.
  
  after Spending Some Quality Time At the Peak, We Would Start Descending Through the Same Path to Homestay for a Much Awaited Campfire and Hot Dinner. the Homestay Provides Both Veg and Non-veg Food for Dinner.
  
  you Could also Take Bath, if You Want as Hot Water is Available At Homestay.

• Day 2 : 07:30 am – 11 am

  Next Day After Breakfast We Would Spend the Early Morning Time At the Somavati River Waterfall Beside the Home Stay.
  spend Some Quality Time and Then Back to Bangalore.
  
  11 am – 10.30 Pm – Return Journey to Bangalore..
