It is also famous for its flora and fauna, in which Brahmakamal is famous. Since this region is favourite destination for young kids and old age people in family because of availability of easier to treks,and families come from every corner of the world.

Wan (Trekking base camp) can be reached by four wheelers via Karanprayag and Mandoni. From here the small track takes us to Bedni Bugyal and the meadow in itself would leave anyone spell bound.

In addition, one can also go to Ali Bugyal if the stamina allows, 10 kilometre from Bedni Bugyal. Ali Bugyal is blessed with pristine nature in the form of green valley, rugged mountains, Vaitarni lake(Bedni Kund). After Ali Bugyal we come back to Bedni Bugyal trek and from there to basecamp,as the trek finishes there.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Delhi - Karnprayag - Mundoli

  In the morning after breakfast drive to Mundoli via Devprayag, Rudraprayag and Karnprayag. Arrival at Mundoli by evening. Dinner and overnight stay in tents.

• Day 2 : Mundoli - Wan - BedniBugyal(3350mts/11000ft)

  In the morning drive 10 kms to Wan, which is the road head for the trek. Today we will trek 11 km (5-6 hrs) to reach Bedni Bugyal, probably one of the best camping sites in the Garhwal Himalayas. Dinner and overnight stay in tents.

  • Themes : Camping

• Day 3 : Bedni - Ali Bugyal - Bedni (10 kms/4 hrs)

  Today we will trek up to another Bugyal, Ali Bugyal(3300 mts). After exploring the area trek back to Bedni for dinner and overnight stay.

• Day 4 : Bedni Bugyal - Wan - Mundoli - Karnprayag
