Beijing, is considered as the hub of political, educational, and cultural center of China.
Being the capital of China for about 850 years, it is one of the Four Great Ancient Capitals of China, offering China's most wonderful array of attractions. No other city in the nation attracts more travelers. As the saying goes, one who fails to reach the Great Wall is not a true hero. Without visiting the Great Wall, no trip to this city or the country is complete. The Great Wall of China is a series of stone and earthen fortifications in northern China, built, rebuilt and maintained between the 5th century BC and the 16th century to protect the northern borders from Xiongnu attacks during various successive dynasties.
At the heart of this city is the Forbidden City, home to the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties, the largest palace complex of the nation and the world. The Forbidden City also hosts the Palace Museum with imperial collections of Chinese art. The Forbidden City is, by any measure, a must-see site in this city. Shanghai is considered as the economic capital of China with major business and economic activities.
Shanghai is situated on the banks of the Yangtza River Delta in Eastern China. It is the largest city in China and the eighth largest city in the world. Widely regarded as the citadel of China's modern economy, the city also serves as one of the most important cultural, commercial, financial, industrial and communications centers of China. Originally, Shanghai was a seaside fishing village and with time, became China's most prominent city. By the 20th century, Shanghai became the center of popular culture, intellectual discourse and political intrigue in the Republic of China. In the late 19th century and early 20th century, Shanghai was considered the largest commercial city in the Far East, and the third largest financial center in the world, ranking after New York City and London.
Modern Shanghai has three key attractions of interest to the visitor, including Sightseeing, Business centers and Shopping malls located in the People's Square and along the Huangpu River. The main Entertainment and Holiday Tourism areas are located at Mt. Sheshan, Chongming Island, Dingshan Lake and Shenshuigang Area.
