Bhuj :- Bhuj is a city and a municipality in Kachchh in the state of Gujarat, India. Bhuj is home to one of the first Swaminarayan Sampraday temples, built in 1822. The Kutch Utsav commencing on the last day of February is a window to this ancient land of heroism and romance. Kutch district is a district of Gujarat state in western India. It is the largest district in the state of Gujarat and the second largest district of India.
Kachchh literally means something which intermittently becomes wet and dry; a large part of this district is known as Rann of Kachchh which is shallow wetland which submerges in water during the rainy season and becomes dry during other seasons. Places to visit are Kachchh Museum, Darbargarh Palace, Kutch Desert Festival, Kutch Great Indian Bustard Sanctuary, Great Rann of Kutch, Kutch Desert Wildlife Sanctuary, Narayan Sarovar Wildlife Sanctuary etc.
Rann of Kutch :- The Rann of Kutch, also known as the Great Rann of Kutch (there's a Little Rann of Kutchas well), is a remarkable place to visit in Gujarat. Much of it consists of the world's largest salt desert, measuring around 10,000 square kilometers. What makes it even more amazing is that the salt desert is underwater during the main monsoon season in India. For the remaining eight months of the year, it's an enormous stretch of packed white salt. Each community has its own oral traditions, dance, craft and dress. Stretching along the Tropic of Cancer, from Rajasthan to the edge of Pakistan and the Arabian Sea, Kutch covers a little over 45000 sq km and is geographically one of India's largest and most distinctive districts.

Day 1 : Pick Up From Airport/Railway Station Drive To Hotel And Local Sightseeing
Today, arrive at Ahmedabad. On arrival check-in to the hotel & later proceed to visit Calico Museum of Textiles ( Wednesday Close), one of India’s leading specialized museums. In the afternoon, visit the Shreyas Folk Museum on folk art collections. Balance day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 : Check-out From Hotel Drive To Gondal And Visit Navlakha Palace And Local Textile Market
Today, proceed to Gondal, a princely town of considerable importance and affluence, visit the Navlakha Palace, which houses the erstwhile ruling families private collections of bead work, textiles, brassware, hand-painted toys and silver crafts, the center promoting weaving at Gondal, and the historic buildings of Gondal. Overnight stay at the Gondal palace.
Day 3 : Visit Jetpur Museum And Local Sightseeing
Today, proceed to Jetpur, Known for its screen and block printing workshops, and a yam-dyeing center, and then transfer to Junagadh where you can see gem-sncrusted carpets, wardrobes and tapestery of the Nawab at the museums. A historic city, Junagadh has 3rd century BC Buddhist relics, medieval fort, mausoleum complexes, palaces, etc. Return to Gondal. Overnight stay at the Gondal palace.
Day 4 : Hotel Check-out Drive To Rajkot Local Sightseeing And Stay At Jamnagar
Today, proceed to Jamnagar via Rajkot. Arrive at the Rajkot. On arrival visit Watson Museum which has good examples of Gujarat craftsmanship skills, and Rashtriyashala working to revive hand-weaving. Arrive at the Jamnagar. In the evening, visit Vanzas who are known for their Bandhani (tie-and-dye) sarees. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5 : Drive To Proceed Visit Local Textile Market And Stay At Bhuj
Today, proceed to Bhuj. On arrival check-in to the hotel. In the evening take a walk in the Textiles market. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6 : Visit Aina Mahal And Textile Museum
Today, visit the Aina Mahal Museum and Prag Mahal. In the afternoon, visit A.A.Wazir’s (National Award Winner Artist) Textiles Museum shop. Rest of the day is free for leisure and shopping. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 7 : Local Excursion At Bhuj Around Villages
Today, get ready for excursion of villages around Bhuj. They are known for their distinctive styles of Embroidery, Tie and Dye Effects and other handiwork like weaving, block-printing, rogan painting, etc. Return back to Bhuj. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 8 : Visit Bhujodi Village And Ashapura Crafts Park
Today, proceed to Bhujodi Village. Meet the national award winner artist and see how they do traditional weaving and visit Shurjan store for shopping. Drive to Ashapura crafts park. In this well decor park they display their skills and sell their product. On weekends the park also organizes music and dance performances. Return to the Bhuj, overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 9 : Hotel Check-out Drive To Rann Of Kutch And Stay At Kutch
Today, proceed to Little Rann of Kutch. On arrival check in to the resort. At resort, watch Rabari women at work on their distinct embroideries. Stay at an eco-resort designed using local materials and handicrafts to resemble a village. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 10 : Hotel Check-out Drop Ahmedabad Airport/Railway Station After Visiting Patan
Today, proceed to patan. Patan is the colony of Patola silk weavers, whose exquisite double ikkat silk fabrics are of considerable commercial importance for textile studies. Patola is the one of the richest silk textiles in the world, woven using the rare double-ikkat technique. Proceed to Ahmedabad. On arrival drop at Airport/Railway Station.
