Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Bangalore

  Bangalore, the capital city of Karnataka, founded in 1537 by a local Chieftain Kempe Gowda. Bangalore is special in every respect - a Salubrious Climate, Beautiful parks, Avenues, Old and New Buildings, Museum, Theatre, above all the Cultured People - a standing testimony for Secular INDIA.
  
  Proceed for half day city tour, visit Lalbagh - This expanse of greenery is one of India`s most beautiful botanical gardens. Bull temple - The gigantic image of the celestial bull, Nandi, which stands at 4.57 meters. in height, is a classic example of Dravidian architecture. Return to hotel and overnight Stay.

• Day 2 : Mysore

  Mysore (or Mysuru) was the capital of the Kingdom of Mysore from 1399-1947. In its center is opulent Mysore Palace, former seat of the ruling Wodeyar dynasty. The palace blends Hindu, Islamic, Gothic and Rajput styles, and is dramatically lit at night. Mysore is also home to the centuries-old Devaraja Market, filled with spices, silk and sandalwood Proceed for Sightseeing. Visit Chamundi Hills to pay your obeisance to Goddess Chamundeshwari. On the way back to city you will see Statue of Mahishasura and Nandi. Pay a visit to Lalith Mahal Palace Hotel. And later visit Jaganmohan Palace Art Gallery. After lunch you will visit Mysore Palace, one of the largest palaces in the country and the beautiful St.Philomenas Church - the most majestic churches in India. Later drive to Brindavan Gardens a show garden that has botanical park with fountains as well as a musical fountain. Overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 3 : Hassan

  Hassan : Found by the chieftain Channa Krishnappa Naik in the 11th century, Hassan city is the headquarters of the Hassan district in Karnataka. Named after the local deity Hassanamba, this district is the architectural capital of Karnataka. The rich culture of the Hoysalas can be seen all over the district. The Hoysala dynasty ruled from Dwara Samudra the capital city then, between the 11th and 14th century. The ruins can still be found in and around Halebid in the Hassan district. Though the rulers of this dynasty belonged to the Jain faith, temples for Lord Shiva can be seen spread over the entire region. Well known for its historical values, Hassan now is city which has grown in leaps and bounds.
  
  Today if you Start your Journey from Msyore then on the way, make a stopover at Sravanbelagola and visit the 17.7mtr high monolithic statue of first Jain sage Gommateshwara Bahubali and the various Frescoes. On Arrival at Hassan Check in at Hotel. Later proceed for sightseeing that involves detailed excursions to Behur and Halebid. While away a lazy evening shopping at the colorful local markets. Return to the hotel for a prearranged overnight stay
• Day 4 : Belur and Halebid

  In the morning, after breakfast, leave for an excursion to Belur and Halebid, which are considered twin cities. The cities were also home to Hoysala dynasty. Visit Cenna Kesava temple and be amazed at the miniature shrines that flank the steps to the Ekatachala temple. Also, visit the Narashima Pillar which used to rotate on its own axis and intricately carved Mohini Pillar in Belur. Post the tour of Belur, visit Halebid and take in the Ancient Hoysala sculpture & Architecture of Hoysaleswar Temple, Dikutachala Temple, Shantaleswara temple and Kedareswara Temple. Return to Hassan for Overnight stay.
• Day 5 : Shimoga

  Shimoga : is a true natures gift, spread with waterfalls, enchanting natural scenery of hills, dense forests, flora & fauna, forts, swaying palms and abundant paddy fields make for picturesque locales. Shimoga district situated more or less in the mid-south-western part of Karnataka. The western part of Shimoga district includes tropical forests and beautiful hilly areas and the eastern less dense but has several lakes and river valleys.
  
  Shimoga was ruled by the great Indian dynasties of the Kadambas, Gangas, Chalukyas, Rastrakutas, Keladi and Vijaynagar Kings. Shimoga is an important tourist destination, industrial, commercial, fine arts and educational centre.
  
  On Arrival at Shimoga, Please check in at Hotel. The rest of the day is free at leisure. During your free time, you can simply rest in your room or take pleasure of the modern amenities available in the hotel's premises. Enjoy an overnight stay in the hotel.

• Day 6 : Jog Falls

  Jog Falls : Also known as Gerosoppa Falls or Joga Falls is the second-highest throw waterfall in India. Situated in Sagara Taluk, this segmented falls is indeed one of the major tourist attractions of Karnataka state of India. After breakfast, Leave to visit the Jog Fall, which is indeed one of the beautiful waterfalls in the Karnataka state. The journey from Shimoga to the Jog Falls is about 3 hours. Created by Sharavathi River, the height of the fall is about 830 ft and listed among the major tourist destination. The fall is visited by thousands of visitors every year. After exploring the fall, return back to the hotel. Overnight Stay in Hotel.
• Day 7 : Gokarna

  Gokarna is a place in the Uttara Kannada district of Karnataka that is a pilgrimage center and also a tourist spot because of its beautiful beaches. It is located at the confluence of two rivers Aganashini and Gangavali, and the place where the rivers converge forms a shape that similar to the ear of a cow, hence the name, Gokarna (Gokarna in the local language literally means cows ear). The Mahabaleshwara Shiva Temple in Gokarna makes this place a holy center for Hindus (especially Shaivites) from all over the country. The temple finds mention in the compositions of Tamil poets Appar and Sambandar who praise the Lord of Tulu Nadu in their hymns. This place was under the rule of the Kadambas, the Vijayanagara kings and was later conquered by the Portuguese.
  
  After Breakfast Proceed to Gokarna. With its narrow streets, traditional houses and temples, the nondescript town of Gokarna has become the favourite haunt of Hindu pilgrims, Sanskrit scholars and beach buffs. Om beach, one of Gokarna five famed beaches, takes the shape of an Om, a spiritual symbol. The other beaches, wedged between gigantic cliffs that protrude like delicate fingers into the sea, are Gokarna, Kudle, Half Moon, and Paradise.Overnight stay at Gokarna.

• Day 8 : Anshi National Park

  After Breakfast Visit Anshi National Park. Considered to be one of the most endangered parks in the country, it is a treat for bird watchers with over 200 species of birds.
  
  The first thing that hits you about the thick forest is the chill. Since it is very high up on the lists of places to visit, the forest does not have well marked out walking trails and you need to be very careful when exploring this natural habitat. Keep aside at least 2 hours if you want to walk around and admire the rare sightings of birds or revel in the melody of the constant chirps. Evening back to Resort / Hotel. Overnight Stay.
• Day 9 : Udupi

  Udupi: district was formed in 1997. It was separated from Dakshina Kannada district to form a new district. Udupi district is located in the coastal region of Western Ghats about 60 km from Mangalore. Udupi is a popular pilgrimage centre and tourist spot. Udupi is famous for the Lord Krishna temple located here. Udupi is also world famous for its world class cuisine. Udupi contribution to World is 'Masala Dosa'. Tulu, Konkani, Kannada and Beary languages are spoken here. Most of the hotel owners in Karnataka are from Udupi.
  
  On Arrival Hotel check In. After Fresh Up Proceed for Local Sightseeing of Udupi, Visit Managaladevi Temple, Rosario Cathedral, Kudroli Bejai, Kadri Manjunatha Temple, Bejai Museum, Sri Krishna Temple Etc.. Evening back to Hotel / Resort. Overnight Stay.
