Day 1 : Nairobi - Tsavo East National Park
Pick up from the airport in the morning drive to Tsavo East National pack which is renowned for its large numbers of elephants and the famous man eating lions Game en route to the lodge. Check in and have lunch at your lodge. In the afternoon, another game drive at the park later returns to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2 : Tsavo East - Tsavo West National Park
Early morning game drive return to your lodge for breakfast, after breakfast leave Tsavo East for Tsavo West Game en route to the lodge. Check in and have lunch. In the afternoon, visit the rhino sanctuary and return to the lodge where there is usually a leopard trap and if you are lucky you will see it.
Day 3 : Tsavo West – Amboseli National Park
Early breakfast, then proceed for a morning game drive with a visit of Mzima Springs, where you can see hippos and fish in a crystalline clear water. There are possibilities of seeing crocodiles and monkeys. Later proceed to Amboseli National park arriving in time for lunch and check in at your lodge. Afternoon game drives within the Amboseli which lies at the floors of Mount Kilimanjaro. Mount Kilimanjaro offers scenic backgrounds for photography. Elephants, Lions, Cheetah, Buffalo etc. can be seen at the swamp area.
Day 4 : Amboseli National Park
Full day at Amboseli National Park with game viewing drives looking for animals.
Amboseli National park is one of the most popular wildlife sanctuaries in Kenya. It is situated close to Kenya- Tanzania border, The Park lies at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa (5,896m) whose snow-capped summit presents a splendid view on clear days. Amboseli National Park is often referred to as “The home of Elephants’ some of the largest Elephant herds are found here. The Game Park also contains vast groups of Zebras, Wildebeests, Giraffes, Buffalos, Hippos and Antelopes. Also to be found in Amboseli are lions, leopards, Cheetahs, Rhinos and many species of plain game.
Day 5 : Amboseli – Masai Mara National Reserve
Depart Amboseli National Park and drive to Masai Mara Game Reserve via Nairobi with a stopover at Narok town for lunch before we proceed to Masai Mara where we will arrive late in the afternoon.
Masai Mara game reserve is the northern part of the Serengeti, one of Kenya's most favored game-viewing areas. The reserve covers 700 square miles of magnificent wilderness. It is the Africa of the imagination; endless reaches of acacia-dotted grasslands studded with hazy hills.
Day 6 : Maasai Mara National Reserve
Spend full days exploring the park in search of the big 5. Morning and afternoon game drives are offered. Optional hot air balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost of US$ 450 per person.
The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures.
Day 7 : Masai Mara – Lake Naivasha
After your breakfast, you will leave Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha, a fresh water lake in the Great Rift Valley. On the way you will have superb scenes including Mount Longonot. Arrive in the afternoon for lunch. You will then take a nature walk to Crater Lake Game Sanctuary; the crater is great fun to explore on foot. This area is alive with hundreds of species of birds and many mammals, large and small. While walking through the conservancy you can spot gazelle, giraffe, zebra, eland, baboon and black and white Columbus monkeys - just to name a few.
Day 8 : Lake Naivasha - Nairobi
After your breakfast, you will have an optional boat ride in the lake in search for hippos after which you will leave for Nairobi with beautiful scenes of the Great Rift Valley to arrive in Nairobi in time for lunch. After lunch you will be transferred to the airport for your flight home.
