Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Cochin – Munnar

  On arrival at Cochin airport you are met and escorted to your vehicle. Leave for Munnar (140 Kms / 04 Hrs)- Kerala`s prettiest hill resort located in the Kannan Devan Hills.Munnar is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - 1600 m above sea level, this hill station was the summer resort of the British Government in South India. Sprawling tea plantations, picture-book towns, winding lanes and holiday facilities make Munnar a popular hill station. On arrival at Munnar check into your hotel. Evening at leisure and overnite Munnar.

• Day 2 : Munnar Local Sightseeing

  After breakfast , a full day sightseeing trip of Munnar covering - Mattupetty Lake & Dam, Echo Point, Kundala Lake, Rajamalai - offering a spectacular view and home of Nilgiry Tahr , the very rare mountain goat. Later you can optionally choose to visit a tea plantation to see the process of making the brew that cheers ! Shop for some souveniers and teas and return to hotel. Evening at leisure and overnite Munnar.
• Day 3 : Munnar - Thekkady - Thekkady Sightseeing

  After breakfast , leave for Thekkady (120 kms / 4 Hrs). Check into your hotel. Thekkady is one of India’s most fascinating natural wildlife sanctuaries , where you can watch wildlife at close range . Checkin to hotel and later leave for a boat cruise at the Periyar Reserve Forest. A cruise on the the waters of the Periyar lake around which the wild-life sanctuary is an enjoyable experience and you get to see herds of tuskers, elephants, deers, bisons,gaurs ,crocodiles and exotic species of birds. Later return to hotel and you can shop for some exotic spices at Kumily closeby and overnite Thekkady.
• Day 4 : Thekkady – Alleppey

  After breakfast drive to Alleppey, a town famous for its backwaters and beautiful houseboats-also called the Venice of India. A perfect destination for a memorable trip in Kerala. Check into a houseboat that will take you through the sleepy backwaters of Kerala. Enjoy nature as your houseboat cruises by charming villages, lush green paddy fields and other scenic delights. Stay overnight in your houseboat besides enjoying the best food in a traditional way. Checkin for houseboat is 1pm and checkout by 8.30 am
• Day 5 : Alleppey - Kumarakom

  Today after breakfast , leave for leave for Kumarakom. On arrival at Kumarakom, chec k in to your resort/ hotel on the shores of the enchanting Lake Vembanad .The village of Kumarakom is a cluster of little islands on the Lake Vembanad .& is a part of the kuttanad region .The bird sanctuary in Kumarakom is spread across 14 acres and is a favourite haunt of migratory birds.Evening enjoy a Sunset cruise (optional) or enjoy the beauty of backwater by just relaxing near Vembanad Lake. You can choose to enjoy some ayurvedic therapies on own too. Overnite Kumarakom.
• Day 6 : Kumarakom – Kovalam

  After breakfast check out from the houseboat and proceed to Kovalam, Kerala`s most famous beach. Check into resort / hotel. Day free to relax and enjoy on beach. Overnite Kovalam.

• Day 7 : Kovalam – Kanyakumari – Kovalam

  After an early breakfast leave for a day return trip to Kanyakumari the southern most tip of India and most famous for its confluence of the 3 great oceans.On the way visit the Padmanabhan Temple. At Kanyakumari visit Vivekanada Rock Memorial , Museum & Kanyakumari Temple. Evening you return to Kovalam and overnite.

• Day 8 : Kovalam – Trivandrum Departure

  Morning drive to Trivandrum Airport for your onward flight.
