Your exotic South India tour begins in the charming old town of Cochin with Portuguese , Arab, Chinese and Dutch influences is also known as the Gateway to Kerala .Visit the oldest church in India-St. Francis Church, marvel at cantilevered Chinese nets dotting the shore of Fort Cochin. Walk through the Jewish quarters to see the 16th century synagogue decorated with splendid Chinese tiles and impressive Belgian chandeliers. Proceed to the mesmerizing hill station; Munnar known for its serenity and remarkable beauty. Shola trees hug the mist-shrouded hillsides, sheltering many endangered species of wildlife and acres of lush green sloping hills of manicured tea plantations form a picture-perfect canvas.

Drive through tropical evergreen and deciduous forests to arrive at Thekkady to the Periyar Tiger Reserve. The best way to see the reserve is by taking a boat cruise on the Periyar Lake to do some bird spotting and perhaps catch a glimpse of the elusive tiger!

A short drive takes you to Kumarakom –the awe-inspiring backwater town of Kerala.

Unwind, relax and watch the sunset in a traditional luxurious houseboat as you meander through the narrow canals past local villages, lush green paddy fields, mangroves, churches and temples.

This immersive tour ends and you return back home relaxed and rejuvenated with memories of this picturesque journey. 

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Cochin - Munnar

  AM : Arrive Cochin , and we take you to Munnar (140 Kms / 04 Hrs). On arrival at Munnar check into Hotel.
  PM : At leisure.
  Overnight stay in Hotel, Munnar.
• Day 2 : Munnar

  After breakfast we take you for a full day sightseeing trip of Munnar - covering - Mattupetty Lake & Dam, Echo Point, Kundale Lake, Blossom Garden, Rajamalai, Eravikulam Wildlife sanctuary & Tea Plantation. 
  
  Overnight stay in Hotel , Munnar. 
• Day 3 : Munnar - Periyar

  AM : 0900 Hrs check out from Hotel after breakfast and we take you to Thekkady (120 Kms / 4 Hrs). 
  
  On arrival at Thekkady check into Hotel. 
  
  Afternoon go for a spice plantation Tour (Optional) & later for boating in the Periyar lake to view the wildlife at the Periyar tiger reserve (Optional). 
  
  Overnight stay at Hotel, Thekkady. 
• Day 4 : Periyar- Kumarakom

  0900 Hrs after breakfast check out from Hotel and we drive down to Kumarakom (145 Kms / 4 Hrs). 
  
  On arrival at Kumarakom visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary and later check in at hotel in, Evening go for Sunset cruise (optional) or enjoy the beauty of backwater by just relaxing near Vembanadu Lake.

• Day 5 : Houseboat

  Morning at leisure at resort, 1230 hrs check in at houseboat.
  
  Rest of the day at leisure on the House Boat. Sit back and relax while the boat cruises through the narrow serene backwater canals of Kumarakom & Alleppey.
  
  Lunch, Evening Tea/Coffee with snacks, dinner and Overnight stay on House Boat.

  • Themes House Boat
• Day 6 : Houseboat- Cochin

  AM at leisure on House Boat. Later at 1000 Hrs boat arrives at Alleppey finishing point jetty. 
  
  On arrival check out from house boat after breakfast and we transfer you to Cochin - airport / Railway station.
