Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive Auckland, - The City of Sails

  Upon arrival in Auckland, the City of Sails, you will be met and privately transferred to accommodation. Remainder of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Auckland
• Day 2 : Auckland - Bay of Island (Paihia)

  This morning, collect a rental car at Auckland city branch (hotel delivery is subject to supplier confirmation). Depart Auckland and travel north over Auckland Harbour Bridge, along The Hibiscus Coast and through Whangarei ? Northland?s only major city and port, to reach Paihia Bay of Island. Overnight in Bay of Islands
• Day 3 : Day tour to Cape Reinga via Ninety Mile Beach

  After breakfast, enjoy a full day trip by coach to the top of New Zealand - Cape Reinga. Journey along the mighty Ninety Mile Beach on the specially designed coach. Walk out to the lighthouse at Cape Reinga with its magnificent views over where the two oceans of the green Tasman Sea and the blue Pacific Ocean meet. There is also opportunity to take a short walk in Puketi Forest and see the giant Kauri trees, shot down massive sand dunes on sand boards, or wriggle your toes in the sand to gather some shellfish. Overnight in Bay of Islands
• Day 4 : Paihia - Hokianga

  After breakfast, check out your room and proceed to the Maritime Building for your Dolphin Cruise to Hole in the Rock. Board the luxury catamaran and cruise through the ?Piercy Rock? and onto the magnificent Grand Cathedral Cave. After the cruise, depart Bay of Islands and travel to Hokianga by self drive. In the evening, you will have a chance to visit the oldest Kauri Trees by Seat in Coach tour (optional costs). Overnight in Hokianga
• Day 5 : Hokianga - Auckland

  After breakfast this morning, you may have time to explore Hokianga and nearby area before self drive to Auckland. Overnight in Auckland
• Day 6 : Auckland - Rotorua

  After cooked breakfast, depart Auckland and travel south via the fertile Waikato Region to Rotorua, the Thermal City. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight in Rotorua
• Day 7 : Rotorua

  After breakfast, visit the Agrodome Leisure Park and enjoy Sheep Show? an exciting show staging the different breeds of New Zealand sheep. Arrive at Rainbow Springs and see the trout pool and a magnificent aviary where you will find the famous Kiwi ? New Zealand?s flightless native bird. Then visit Te Puia Thermal Reserve (formerly Whakarewarewa Thermal Reserve and New Zealand Maori Arts & Crafts Institute). Afternoon is at leisure. This evening, enjoy a traditional Maori Hangi dinner and cultural performance at Mitai Maori village. Overnight in Rotorua
• Day 8 : Rotorua

  Following cooked breakfast at hotel this morning, the whole day is at your leisure to explore Rotorua and nearby areas by self drive. Overnight in Rotorua
• Day 9 : Rotorua - Auckland

  After breakfast, depart Rotorua and drive to Auckland. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight in Auckland
• Day 10 : Depart Auckland

  After breakfast, self drive to Auckland airport. Drop off rental vehicle and check in for your onward flight to the next destination.
