• Day 1 : Arrive Delhi

  Arrive Delhi. Upon arrival you will be met by a Dominion Travel representative and transferred to your hotel. Overnight stay.

  Full day city tour of Old and New Delhi. Among the principal sights in Old Delhi are the Red Fort, the Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk and Raj Ghat & in New Delhi, the Government Buildings, with a drive through the Rajpath to the majestic India Gate, Humayun’s Tomb and the Qutab Minar. Overnight stay.

  Morning drive to Jaipur, en route visiting Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted capital of Mughal India. Among the attractions of Fatehpur Sikri are the large audience halls, Palaces, the Mosques, the tomb of Salim Chishti, The Panchmahal and the Buland Darwaza, which is the one of the biggest gates in Asia. • Day 5 : In Jaipur

  Full day city tour of Jaipur city and the Amber Fort, the ancient capital of the State until 1728. Visit the Jagmandir, also known as the Hall of Victory, glittering with mirrors, Jai Mahal and the Temple of Kali. Take a ride on a brightly decorated elephant up to the ramparts of the Fort. Among the sights are the Jantar Mantar – the Observatory, Hawa Mahal – The Palace of Winds, The City Palace & Museum and Choki Dhani. Jaipur is also a major centre for precious and semi precious stones, jewellery, cotton textiles and the typical Blue Pottery. Overnight stay.

• Day 6 : Jaipur - Mandawa

  Morning drive to Mandawa. Upon arrival check-in at your hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Mandawa, a small town that has many havelis and temples. The terrace of the rugged Fort provides a panoramic view of the town. See the extraordinary frescoes on the walls of the houses. Overnight stay.

• Day 7 : Mandawa - Bikaner

  Morning drive to the fortified city of Bikaner. Upon arrival check-in at your hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Bikaner, which is bolstered by imposing walls and has a 16th century Fort housing old Palaces, temples and a mosque. Founded by Raja Rai Singh, the Fort is distinguished by its long range of pavilions, a line of balconies and aerial windows of varying designs. An enormous arched doorway leads to the Joramal Temple. The royal chapel is Har Mandir where royal weddings and births were once celebrated. Visit the old Fort built by Raja Rai Singh. Overnight stay.

• Day 8 : Bikaner - Jaisalmer

  Morning drive to Jaisalmer. En route, visit Deshnok Temple, see the miracle temple of Karni Mata, presiding Deity of the Royal House of Bikaner. An interesting feature are the rats that are worshippers of Karni Mata in the form of Bards and are present in large numbers within the precincts of the temple, thus also known as Rats Temple.   Morning sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer, including a visit to the Fort, the Gadisar Lake and the famous Havelis – some of the most exotic ones being the Nathamalji ki Haveli, the Patwon ki Haveli & Salim Singh ki Haveli. Afternoon excursion to Sam Sand dunes. Here you will have the chance to experience a camel ride. Overnight stay.

  Morning city tour of Jodhpur visiting the Mehrangarh Fort, situated on a low sandstone hill, including Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal. Later visit Jaswant Thada, an imposing Marble Memoriam built in 1899 and the museum located in the Umaid Public Gardens. Later visit Mandore, the ancient capital of Marwar, which was abandoned for strategic reasons. At the foot of the hills amidst the gardens, commemorative cenotaphs line the silent city (optional dinner at Umaid Bhawan Palace). Overnight stay.

  Morning sightseeing tour of Udaipur city. Among the places visited are the City Palace – a majestic architectural marvel towering over the lake. A conglomeration of courtyards, pavilions, terraces, corridors, rooms and hanging gardens. The main entrance is through the Triple arched gate “Tripolia” with eight marble porticos; the Jagdish temple – built in 1651 by Maharana Jagat Singh, this Indo – Aryan temple is the largest and the most beautiful temple of Udaipur with note worthy sculpted images & the Saheliyon ki Bari with its many fountains. A highlight of your trip to Udaipur is an optional sunset boat cruise on the beautiful Lake Pichola. The lake is surrounded by hills & Palaces including the beautiful City Palace, temples, bathing ghats and embankments. Overnight stay.
