  Travel to Kandalama, stopping en route at Sigiriya. Climb the Sigiriya rock fortress. 

• Day 3 : KANDALAMA

  This morning visit the ancient ruins of Polonnaruwa. Continue on to Minneriya, home to herds of deer, elephants and birdlife. Park your jeep on the bank of the reservoir, sit back and view the wildlife.

• Day 4 : KANDALAMA - PASSIKUDAH

  Continue your journey to Passikudah.

• Day 5 : PASSIKUDAH

  Enjoy free time in Passikudah.

• Day 6 : PASSIKUDAH - KANDY

  Depart the coast for Kandy. This evening explore this small lakeside town on a walking tour and also see a cultural show.

• Day 7 : KANDY - BENTOTA

  Spend some time with local artist, Rajhu. Learn of the inspiration behind is artwork and have exclusive access to his studio. Continue to Bentota.

• Day 8 : BENTOTA

  This morning visit Galle, the epic southern capital, steeped in Dutch history and architecture.

• Day 9 : BENTOTA - COLOMBO

  Transfer to the airport.
